My mom played them on our record player/stereo/cassette player while I was at school and recorded all of the songs for me. During the recording, the phone rang and my mom answered, which the recording picked up! lol. I still have the tape.

As unintelligently as lvanciel put it, I have to agree...the current state of Nickelodeon is nothing short of depressing. The shows I grew up on are still with me today - I still adore them, can enjoy them, and pass them on to my young relatives to see as well. The shows on Nick now are mind-numbing, dumbed down and all around pretty horrendous. It used to be the greatest channel, which makes its decline so much sadder to see.

This show made days off from preschool well worth it! I'm 24 and still remember the hand motions and the song. Ahh good times!

Yes I remember this I was in PreSchool at the time of airing and came home from PreSchool and my Mom would have taped all of the epsodies on yes folks here's how old I am on BETA!!!! and agian years later on of my friends of the family taped it all on VHS!!!!

I used to love watching this show! Randomly during lunch today I got this song stuck in my head and it took me HOURS of annoyance to end up having to ask my mom where the song was from.
Man, I miss this show... I watched it when I was like, 3 and 4 maybe, probably both younger and older, and randomly 12-13 years later I totally... randomly remembered this song!

I still know the Skinamarink lyrics and movements...and ALSO.."Hi, My Name Is Joe..."...I watched this sometimes on Nickelodeaon back in the 80s...and I had a tape of it for my daughter and niece when they was little (They are now 11 and 12 and still knows the movements too)

As unintelligently as lvanciel put it, I have to agree...the current state of Nickelodeon is nothing short of depressing. The shows I grew up on are still with me today - I still adore them, can enjoy them, and pass them on to my young relatives to see as well. The shows on Nick now are mind-numbing, dumbed down and all around pretty horrendous. It used to be the greatest channel, which makes its decline so much sadder to see.

@StygianFilms OMFG i can agree with you more.. my son gets mad that i dont let him watch Nickelodeon.. im like its not a kids channel anymore.. its really dumbed down and stupid, and all shows are about having boyfrineds and girlfriends.. come on.. used to be for kids. i dont want my child to grow up that fast and have to worry about relationships at age 8
