Sammy Hagar was only at best pretty good when he was with Montrose. When God made David Lee though He broke the mold. The man is the best shownam rock guy I've ever seen. Just dissapointed Mickael A wasn't invited to the party.

Look, anyone that plays knows rock bass isn't hard and it's not really about the playing, it's the vibe. My worry was that the BGVs would suffer, but on most of these cuts I hear the high stuff, is that Eddie or Wolfe? It's not quite as good as Michael's backgrounds, noone would be, but man, just to hear David singing with them again. This is going to be a huge tour.
Both Wolfgang and Eddie were singing background vocals but I think it's actually more Wolfgang than Eddie. The background vocal highs were covered well especially for a live venue. Wolfgang could just be more animated which he'll pick up in time and get in better shape which will complete the picture. It definitely was a big move for him to be out there in a filled arena doing his thing and I bet after a few shows he'll be getting more into the stage image thing.

I don't get that... the bassline was always solid and prominent with Michael Anthony and he put on a good show. But what is is now. The guys were synched together well and put on a good show and Wolfie is going to do nothing but get better on stage; And he's getting the job done now as it is!
