Oh! BTW--you can avoid spearing Alex and releasing that ladder if you:

1. Find the [Broken Ladder] item

2. Stack up boxes or throw something at the latch where the ladder comes down and it should pop open; stack the boxes and climb the stack to get the [Wax Cylinder] piece, and then stack again to climb and open up the latch on the ceiling.

3. Attach the [Broken Ladder] item to the open hatch and then take a leap of faith. You can't open the door to free Alex.

Well, basically, this is just (I think) an expansion to Amnesia. Its has nothing to do with Daniel, the Shadow, or Alexander. (Or Agrippa! :D) You are playing as a girl trying to get out of a big... Well, I don't know what it is. This is as much as I can explain without spoilers, though, so I hope it helped. :3 Oh, and throughout the game, you are hunted by three monsters.
