  • this is so good it should actually be illegal. I thought the earth imploded if this much talent was this close together....

  • OMG

  • one of my favorites song ever ....no matter who sing it still give a powerfull energy...performance was out of this world

  • "Where The Streets Have No Name" is the only song to have been played in full by the headlining acts of two consecutive Glastonbury Festivals as far as I can recall. I don' think any other song is more deserving of such an honor.

  • Seriously... Who disliked this video? does this person have something against exceptional music?

  • the edge feat. Muse***

  • @U2Billone no

  • @U2Billone Muse ft The edge***

  • lol my dads favourite band (U2) and my favourite band (muse) playing together

  • Muse is the way for modern music, when we grow up, we're gonna be able to show our kids muse like our parents show us the beatles/zeppelin or maybe even guns n roses today

  • @Netlocd Troll much?

  • @Netlocd smh. sad... Just sad.

  • @Netlocd

lol. U2 aren't even that great. All their songs sound the same. You could take the lyrics from any song and put it with the music from another and it'd sound fine.

  • @WhereBeWaldoAt Are you retarted? U2 are renowned for their ability to completely change their style of music and still be successful. Have you ever listened to The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby back to back? Yeah those are only 4 years apart. Listen to all the mainstream crap of the mid 80s and then listen to U2. They are unique deal with it.

  • @viperdude281

I don't recall saying U2 weren't unique. I just said all their songs sound the same. Maybe I shouldn't have though because I've rarely listened to them.

  • @WhereBeWaldoAt Yeah youre right, maybe you shouldnt

  • @WhereBeWaldoAt lol at least your honest because thats what i think when i hear people say that

  • holy sh....this is just too good to be true :')

  • Perfect!!!! Muse + U2... PERFECT!!! ;)

  • Mathew Bellamy is a great Singer!!! U2+MUSE= PERFECT!!!! ;)

  • No Bono.

  • For me this is an orgasmic moment absolutely magical..

  • what have ya got under yer hat today the edge

    is that muse?

  • I get goosebumps and palpitations when I watch this. EPIC! DELIRIOUS!

    MUSE ROCKS! U2 RULES!!!

  • Did anyone else catch Matt giggling @3:14?

  • @ZombieTurtle2 He'd just realised "SHIT, IT'S FUCKING THE EDGE"!!!!!!!!!!

  • @VioletDiva Yeah. It was probably something like that.

  • @ZombieTurtle2 yep i did :-) but just imagine what he must have felt like thats probably like a little boy's dream come true :-) lucky bastard ;-)

  • The Edge is a ledgend!

  • One dislike! Must be Bono because Matt done a better job!

  • Muse performing U2 with The Edge ... IT ROCKS!!!!

  • it's been almost a year, and I think I love this version more and more.. is just awesome!

I remember that day, and I was so overwhelmed by its awesomeness... oh gosh wish I could have been there!

  • Noticias ~

  • this is magic...

  • Matt does a great job in this :P

  • matt doesnt look right without a guitar

  • @farizzal Where in this doesn't he have a guitar?

  • @xOoMUSEoOx in the beggining, I commented before I saw the rest of the video

  • The Edge and Matthew Bellamy!?! its that kind of stuff you would kill to see

  • 3:47

  • Is it normal to cry and jump to this song?

  • @Caleidoscopio0 yes totally normal if you don't do it you are seriously damage

  • Matt pulled it off better than Bono does. An honour for Muse to play with The Edge, an honour for The Edge to play with Muse. Matt's giggling like a schoolgirl that's how excited he is.

    Awesome performance.

  • @TharrGuardian Bono still sings this song better.

  • @superclaydude Somebody who agrees with me.

  • @superclaydude lolno

  • @superclaydude he might but honestly this isnt Matt's style of singing .... it was so weird to see this performed but it was still great

  • Now THAT's what I call a good cover.

The truth is though, this song can never be done justice without The Edge.

  • without edge there wouldn't be U2, but then Edge would have started some other band, and with his guitar sound they would have been a very popular rock band!

  • @hantsu4

    i guess not :)

big parts of his sounds came out of playing together with adam and larry;)

  • U2 is okay. I kinda got over Bono. But Edge retains his awesomeness.

  • U2 es maas chingoon qe MUSE

  • @ArTrS983 nah ya se volvieron bn mamonez

  • MUSE should join with U2 more often i can just hear the, doing 'with or without you' and 'still haven't found what i'm looking for' amazing!!!!

  • 1:50 look at those jugs!!!! I'm like one of the biggest U2 fans, but i gotta say, this is absolutely epic

  • Why do they put the drummer in the back when the stage is wide enough to fit him up front?

Hearing Muse cover U2 makes me want to listen to a Muse song.

    Muse>U2

  • @Kogerii U2>Muse!

  • @ListenSpeakBelieve U2=Muse

  • The Edge said "the power trio of their generation"....wow...

  • This was so epic, David Lean tried to make a film about it, but realized that it was beyond his capabilities. Partially due to the incredible epicness. Also because he's dead.

  • One of the best versions of 'Where The Streets Have No Name' I have ever heard, and I include the original in that.

  • I admit first time I watched this performance I cried at the sheer epicness.

  • amazing to see these forces combine on stage

btw anyone about to insult Edge. I never thought he was an amazing guitarist, but I realized the difficulty of what they're doing isn't nearly as important as the creativity and style behind it. Music is art. Don't forget that.

  • i like the edge hes very cool and just chilled out but you can tell he rlly gets into how passioante he feels about stuff

  • It was SO unexpected when The Edge came on. Definitely one of highlights of the weekend!!

  • This is awesome. It must be an honour for both bands to play live on stage together.

  • @ErikJ92

imagine concerts in South America +.+

  • @ErikJ92 I would think more of an honor for Muse. I mean, it's fucking The Edge!!!

  • fantastic version, The Edge is just superb as usual.

  • cant ever ever top the original...but close

  • amazing cover waaay better than the original... you never disappoint matt!!!

  • this is so good!

  • enoonevoli commented:

Edge is so f****** bad ass. Seriously. And that performance was amazing.

  • magnfique !
