The first one was released on an obscure PC game console in Japan called the FM-Towns. The 2nd and 3rd one were released on the PC Engine CD-ROM, which was the Turbografx-CD over in the U.S. All the games are older than the PS1

yeah it was released on FM Towns.

There was an FM Towns computer/workstation which had an Intel 386 processor and custom graphics & audio chipset that was not available in PCs. This made FM Towns much more powerful than any PC or Mac of the time, like Amiga yet even more powerful. The FM Towns console version was the Marty, the first 32-bit console (yes before CD32 or 3DO).

FM Towns had lots of good games, like the X68000.
