@MrGlyn001 hi i recently moved in to a new house and the owner left me a 1 24 scale concorde huge thing do you have any idea what price i could sell this for
lol if there was a like rc plane park to fly ur rc planes i would bring my concorde all day because it looks way better than all the other planes they would be jelous
If I was to guess who the pilot was, I would say Ali Mashinchy one of the UKs top RC Pilots, as he flys that formation at shows that I've seen him at with concorde.
Er, no, ONE Concorde was struck by some debris on take off (left on the runway by a Boeing jet...) with the loss of all on board - the only accident involving the plane. Although modifications were made, the aircraft were pulled from service two years later, despite having an airworthiness certificate until 2010. Even with a total engine failure, they could fly safely - the inlet port closed and the overall drag was virtually unchanged - unlike every other jet liner.
yeah, im pretty sure the only reason they were taken out of service was because of the shockwave it made when going to hypersonic speeds. now im sure im wrong so please dont quote me on this...
It makes you want to cry just thinking how the real one will never fly again. Thank goodness for the RC modellers, keeping the Concorde's spirit alive.
because it crash, and no one knew what caused it, i believe it crashed 2 time, so they decide to not use it as a passenger airline anymore 4 ppls safety
these littl eWorking Jet engines are great. sounds like th ebig brothers, they were amazing the first time i saw one. Just like the 20,000 dollar car that had an actual little tine V8 engine. I liked the B 52 Model they had out.
They use real turbines. Simply on smaller scale. They give off the same heat and sound just as real jets. This is why they are being banned from being near homes.
yes you have to^^ it`s really a nice sport. but it isn`t as easy as many people do it in the video. many of them are realy awesome.if you want to start a good plane is a easy star. it`s simple an it make a lot of fun
Well I 've being told one of these jets can cost 10 ,000 bucks or more, the turbine engine may cost arround 5,000 alone, there's a B-52 RC bomber that cost 45,000, that's a lot of money.
No, the design of the aircraft won't allow for the use of flaps. If flaps were used, the effectiveness of the elevons/ailervators (in this design they are incorporated in the same unit hence the names being mixed together) would be negligable. Essentially, extending the "flaps" would be exactly the same as pushing the yoke fully forward (nosediving!) Please, no flaming. If you have a better explanation, then please just put it forward.
So, where's the door to get in?

btw how much dose one of them concorde's cost?
and where do you get them from?
StolenBanana1 3 years ago
about $30,000 for the plane and all the model turbine engines for it, maybe more
Search RC jets and you'll see lots of online shops that sell em, but I'd suggest flying a trainer first lol
warderseeker 3 years ago
the real one cant fly again because alot of them have had engine failures ect and are classed as ''UNSAFE'' so yeah =]
