NATE! we all loved you on beauty and the geek!!!.....what happend beween you and jennylee, you looked sooo cute together and you were crazy about her (bless u climbed out of a window 4 her!)
i believe in a universe with an infinite number of time lines. everything is and is not. everything happens and does not.
In such a reality you could say that it is fate that everything would and would not be/happen. However, you could argue that in timeline the decisions that you make create your unique universe and that since you are currently creating it there was never anything written in stone(fate).
Reality is divided. Half is ruled by fate and the other by choice.
As a lightning up question, I'd like to know what shows you watched when you were a kid. Seems like most people my age watched nickelodeon instead of cartoon network. I talk to people about Huckleberry Hound and Pirates of Dark Water, but no one gets it. I wonder if any of them even watched Birdman and the Galaxy Trio, or Space Ghost with the two kids and the monkey. I feel like everyone was just too busy with their happy jolly fun with nickelodeon
Unequivocally enjoyable, as always. You constantly impress me by taking a simple question, one which most people would give an equally simple and biased answer, and you approach it from every side possible. The thought process in which you go through for these answers must be incredible.
I really don't believe in "fate" and the "everything happens for a reason" thing (apart from the actual decision->consequence relation), but I had never thought of it that way. And it's actually quite obvious.
Fate is another concept we've made up to feel good about our decisions and the situations we are in.
fate isn't conscious. we are. it is we who have to make fate happen.
