  • So are you saying that if a person is not water baptized they are not saved? Is it full water immersion?

  • @Noffy1111 he is not right water is symbolic of the Holy Spirit and the spiritual life He gives (John 4:14; 7:38, 39). Jesus speaks "of water and Spirit" not because there are two sources of regeneration but to describe the Holy Spirit working like water. The two are taken together to describe different aspects of the same reality. The Holy Spirit alone regenerates (John 3:6, 8), and in so doing, He acts like water cleansing and renewing the soul (John 3:5).

  • @jesusLostChildren777 the man that hang next to Jesus Christ was not baptized but he believed Jesus.water also means the word of God.i like SDA teachings but sometime the missing the point...baptized is after you are born again to show the world that you will give your life to Jesus Christ. Therefore, to be baptised is to be obedient to the path set out by Jesus. but i dont now everting about baptism but i do now its not needed to be born again

  • @jesusLostChildren777 Therefore, the “water” mentioned in this verse is not literal physical water but rather the “living water” Jesus promised the woman at the well in John 4:10 and the people in Jerusalem in John 7:37-39. It is the inward purification and renewal produced by the Holy Spirit that brings forth spiritual life to a dead sinner

  • @jesusLostChildren777 (Ezekiel 36:25-27; Titus 3:5). Jesus reinforces this truth in John 3:7 when He restates that one must be born again and that this newness of life can only be produced by the Holy Spirit (John 3:8).
