That's not exactly what he was saying.

When I took class with them he told us to "dancing with soul" is more important than dancing with technical ability. I think he was just referring to 'arms and legs' dancers... dancers that can do choreography rather well but have no soul when they dance, can't freestyle and sometimes have awkward movement but can pass as a "good dancer".

We have ALOT of those on the West Coast in my opinion
