  • @LuckyHut0RealEstate I have two words for you are a complete idiot!!!

  • Не удачно скопировали грузинскии танец!!!

  • Why the hell every single dance is Lezginka for you people from North caucasus :D . The first thing GEorgian children learn when attend dance classes is understanding the dances only after you feel and know you can dance. That is why no one can ever compare to GEORGIAN dancers and this is not LEZGINKA but DAISI traditional GEorgian dance. You are free to call whatever you want to ur dances, but this is ours and the name is DAISI!

  • This is real lezginka. Nothing else. Georgian Dance is originated from this dance. That's why, back in the day it was called Lekuri - dance of Laks. And this is Georgian writing who knows little bit about history of folk in Caucasus.

  • @drunchula this is called DAISI anyone attending dance school at least one year knows that this is purely originally GEorgian dance!

  • @girl4GEO Ok. Let's start. If they teach you this in dance school - When was opera daisi writte? :)) Teach your teachers. This dance is original lezginka. Georgian Dance (daisi) is originated from this dance and there's nothing to be ashamed off, because Georgians took this dance to completely new level.

  • @drunchula sorry i don't understand first part of your English sentence.

As for the origination of Daisi which is also called "kartuli" is a traditional wedding dance, also called a Georgian Romance, it has nothing common with Lezginka and did not derive from north caucasian dances at all... The dance was put together by Iliko Sukhishvili again, and he always called the dance "KARTULI". I have been dancing for 10 years and I guess I kind of know little bit of history of every dance..

  • @girl4GEO The dance kartuli is originated from dance lekuri - same lezginka we see right here, in this clip. What Iliko Sukhishvili did was adaptation and reproduction of this dance. Dagestani people had entertainment troops, traveling through Georgia and performing at villages. They were so popular that almost every dance was called lekuri - same problem in Russian - they call all Caucasian dances lezginka. After folk dances went to stage, all dances were changed.

  • @drunchula I wonder what is the source of your information because Lekuri and Kartuli are not the same, and all this nice story you told me is definitely far from the truth. I don't really mind and I know that North Caucasians do also have thier dances but seriously calling purely Georgian dance Lezginka is at least disrespectful.

  • @girl4GEO The only truth in your post is that Lekuri and Kartuli are not the same dances - it's different, but Kartuli dance was staged after what we, Georgians called lekuri - dance of laks, dagestanis...

  • @drunchula what? are you high? what lak dance , this dance is originally called Daisi, twilight in Georgian. It is not lezginka lol. Send me a link to that documentary please I want to expose you!!!!. post the link here unless you do not want to back your argument!!!

  • @girl4GEO They became academic dances and that's what we see today. Sorry if i disappoint you but not everything we call Georgian dance is originated in Georgia. Yes, we Georgians did a lot to save and make this dances popular, but truth has to be said too.

  • @drunchula "but not everything we call Georgian dance is originated in Georgia" so basically what you suggest is that Ilik Sukhishvili was a CHeater and a lier together with whole Georgia, since we call the dance "kartuli"? How disrespectful is that from your side.. In addition do not confuse us Georgians with Armenians it's not in GEorgian habit to call something that is not GEorgian ours, so pretty much you can have your own ideas about origination of dance but do not state it's the only truth

  • @girl4GEO There's nothing disrespectful - There's a documentary called history of Georgian dance. Watch it and then argue with me.

  • Это фестиваль Лезгинки :)) каждый год в Дагестане проходит.

  • GEORGIANS,same as RUSSIANS ,immitate from CHERKESS!!!!

GEORGIANS are better than RUSSIANS(Whom are RIDICULOUS)

  • @MegaHitman666 my friend trust me not many people know in georgia who cherkess are exactly..out of all caucasian people we know the least about circassian.anuways caucasian culture belongs to all caucasian people

  • This isn't lezginka it's Daisi ppl! Georgian dance!

  • @DJJ3X no disrespect meant of course.. but this is kaberday eslamey! performed by kaberdinka!

  • G_E_O_R_G_I_A_N

  • before anybody demands that it's their own dance, let them dance it as well as Georgians do, and than they will be entitled to say something. dance first, give attitudes after. :))

  • "Kabardinka" is dancing)

  • They are Kabardinians, from ansamble "Kabardinka" (they are a husband and wife even))

  • Do u even believe the shit u say lol dude u are buggin out man. Dagestnians ... I have big respect to them like to all wainakh people Georgians and Wainakhs have same blood and flesh are the same race but still even our dances have differenece and dude this is not some islamey as u call it it is pure Georgian dance called daisi

  • ye ye ye dream on u pricks u want these not to be Georgian dances but guess what these dances are called all around the world....... GEORGIAN NATIONAL DANCES so please just fuck off u make me sick

  • haha :)) you can lie to all world but not the owners of this culture.. step down to below of the origin of this culture

  • origin of this culture, dude just give me a break please.... First caucasian dancing group was Georgian, historically even king and queen danced this dance and that was a reason why they called it Daisi which meens noble stage dance in old Georgian language. man I do not even know why am I arguing with your dumb asses. And ofcause u guys can dance it too because we are all caucasians and one same blood but origin of this dance particularly is from Georgia there are many kabardian dances though

  • man you encounter too many errors.. kabardians or other adygeans never got from you.. in the ancient times some of Circassian dances were built as religious rituels and some of them for entertainment.. wij (originally an ancient rituel), xwrashe, yislemey (this is adapted from ancient circassian dances), zighelhet, qafe (kabardian)... all these are original Circassian dances.. there are also ancient Abkhazian dances..

  • Circassian borrowed only Lezginka from other Caucasians (Dagestan) which is now very common in all Caucasia.. now what you do is copying Abkhazian dances, Lezginka dance and figures, Circassian dances, Chechen dances.. and giving them names to make branded.. of course you did similar dances in the past but not these ones..

  • this dance was generaly danced in southern Georgia tribes like Dvaletians or Kvemo Kartlians, it was modernised to aristogratic stage dance as you can see. This looks noting like a kabardinka dance and dude please get a life man, your racistic actions is geting on eerybody's nerves already.

  • lool this is called Kabardian Yelemey and the dancers here from Kabardinka.

  • this is not kabardian dance dummy, I know kabardian dance (it is my favourite actally) it is danced with heavy fur coats (in Georgian its known as nabadi) and is slow and gentel dance between women and men in the begining then it suddenly gets rushy and in the end slows down once again. thats kabardinka this one right here is a daisi dance

  • bullll shit :)) haha georgians have never been like north caucasians.. this is absolutely north caucasian.. how armenians call themselves caucasian novadays is like how georgians call these dances as their .... :D fuck georgia for ever

  • @losdruid this dance never danced in georgia in the past.. you stole it from the north caucasus.. we know what your dances were..

  • wow! it looks like the woman is floating!

  • womens are swans, men are eagles

  • I want the same custum , as he has (in the red ) any one tell me how it calls, and where to get it . Thanks .

  • I call it whatever it is really called but there are many people who see these dances first time in their life and as they do they think of it to be lezginka, then they see another dance which is also called by somone as lezginka and on and on and on so in the end they call all the caucasian dances lezginka and finaly I end up explaining some brainwashed guys that this is not lezgin dance but it is iber dance called daisi. I know that you are wise enough and you may know but many people dont

  • you think every dance you see in youtube is Georgian??? kido what is your damm problem?? Georgians are the last people who danced this dance, Daisi shmaisi, you Georgians got so much dances that are not related to eachother not by costumes nor culture, so please the only one who coppied is Georgians, and because you got an independent country and budgets for culture you developed it, but originaly your dances are not like this at all, before the accordion with what instrument you danced with?

  • how dummy dum dum can you get sawserok, Georgians were last to dance these dances? hahahahaha I see you like to dream too these days. This is Shidakartli tribe dance. Even kings used to dance daisi, there are paintings of king and queen dancing these dances years ago. And at least we name it right, you guys call it what, lezginka just like you call it to Kazbeg dance to mkhedrul dance to Svan and so on. You call everything lezginka do now think twice. Its you who tries to come up with imeginatio

  • who the hell said we call it lezginka?? it is russian name to all cauacsian dance, even to your dances they will call lezginka.

this one is Kabardian Islamey, and the dancers are from Kabardinka, you mean to kartuli dance, you name your dances in place names and got no meanings, no king or queen danced this don't sell bullshit to me, how old this dance you think it is???, Georgians coppied alot in soviet times and because you are majoriy and because of that powerfull, you made everyting yours

  • that is the TRUTH what Sawserok says..

  • lool man this is daisi, and was lorderly dance in Georgia, u may call it islamey lamaley alalamey or anything u want but does not change anything

  • mates the thing is that this dance is Georgian dance and its name is Daisi. And problem is you guys call everything lezginka man it is just so wrong. you guys call Daisi the lezginka mkhedruli the lezginka tushuri the lezginka and so on and on and on lezginka is a dance which is between group of females and males. Stop calling everything lezginka pleaseeeeeeeeee this way you are damiging our own caucasian folk. If you do not know the name of the dance simply do not upload it or do something idk

  • Chill!! As I said here, lezginka is just a generic name for all versions of Caucasian dances..and if you dont want to call it that way..just dont! Nobody is forcing you, call it whatever it is in your native language!

  • Don't mind that Georgian dumb, he thinks all dances came fromGeorgians, but you know the truth is the opposite.

eastern Georgians dance like Dagestan and Chechnya, western Georgians dance like Circassians (except Adjarian)

and i hear some Kist musics that Georgian use in their dances and now dumbs like losdruid say it is Georgian, they use dagestan music too

    listen to 1:31 in this

    watch?v=ONMvgkvx1_4&feature=related

  • this dance is called daisi, and no I dont think all dances are Georgian. But you think Georgians have nothing to do with caucassus wich pisses me off. You have your dances we have ours and we dance eachothers dances which is ok as long as we are all caucasian but then you come along saying that Georgians did nothing but copie circassian and vainakh dances which is bullshit. this is nothing like it, kabardinka dance is danced on tip toes and with heay fur-coat that we in Georgia call Nabad.

  • yes those are not georgian.. you no dances like above.. go and claim your originals which are not like north caucasians.. novadays armenians are being like you georgians and in the future they will say those our dancess... you bull shit fools..

  • yes you are right man.. those georgian guys were like how armenians are like now... in the future armenians will say this is armenian dance :D hahaha

  • man the thinks is that is lots of types of lezginka dances... and all depence wich part of caucausus it is!!

  • the funny thing is........ that Lezgin people doesn't dance like this at all, i saw their dance it is not looks like this at all, their dance looks like an oriental dance, and the leg movements are different too.

  • and you are right about it..lezgins dont dance like this and their music is also orientalish/azerbaijani/persian-a mix of it all

  • so the question is who are the reall nations who danced this dance originaly? i know these dancers are Kabardians the dancer's name is Alim if am correct, they are from Kabardinka, but they call it "Islamey", and i know that there is other different "Islamey" that dancers in Nalmes dance in couple.

  • I dont think there is such a thing as "original Lezginka dance" every Caucasian nation has its own version of it..and Lezginka just became a generic name for all Caucasian Dances..but it did originate in Dagestan..

  • from which nation exactly it orignated? and do you mean to the dance you seee here? or something else?

i know that the movements you see here is all common in all caucasus nations, so maybe that this particular dance is the basic dance which all caucasians started from and from there they developed, because it is so common in all kavkaz, for instance i am sure 100 years ago all caucasian danced it, only in a different style. even the georgians got their own style of it, the Kartuli dance.

  • lezginka is common name for all of the Northern Caucasian dances. there are too many different kinds of it, starting from soft and slow finishing with sharp and extra fast.

also, Lezgin people is one of the Dagestani nationalities, noone knows where the name of the dance is coming from, probably it's named after the Dagestani nation.

so, once again, there are about 50 nations, maybe more, living in Caucasus, and all of us dance different, even though the principle is the same.

  • @dagestan Yes, it became common name because of Russians. They love to do it - all Caucasians are same for them and all Caucasian dances they call lezginka.

  • @dagestan that is what stupid Russians call every single dance performed in caucasia, and it is a shame that someone from Caucasia cannot differentiate between Lezginka and many other forms of dance , they all have their own names actually and their own stories.. In Georgia we have at least 10 different dances, all of then originating from different regions of Georgia and none of them look or are performed the same way. LEZGINKA refers to one specifc dance and is not A term for all...

  • Wuahaha dwbush777 dont use that translater man hahahah

  • this is real lezginka.

russians called all fast caucasian dances lezginka which isn't true.

  • it is true that russians called all fast dances lezginka, but this dance movements are common to all caucasian dances, i think it is the basic dance which every dance developed from, you can see how it is similar to the georgian Kartuli.
