I watched four or five of the vids from this show now. It REALLY looks like Ed is having a good time. Dave is being Dave and I don't really like the whole schtik thing but he sounds GREAT. I saw em in 83 and this looks like just as good a show. LIke Dave said way back when; "hey Eddie, NOBODY wants to see you play keyboard man".

I was there that night at the MGM. This was Eddies last night out before he "turned it down a little". He was loose yet very spontaneous with his playing and I thought it was kinda cool to watch him feeling it like that. Some songs turned out kinda rough like this one, but some, like Unchained, for instance, turned up magic that night.

I was however, happy to hear that he took it offline for a second after this show to regather. He came back REAL strong on the second half of the tour.
