  • Installer doesn't work so now Cydia serves as Installer. Also, you can download installous (from cydia) or go to Appulo (Google) and download, add to itunes, then sync.

  • my ipod touch is already running 2.2.1 so do i still have to do the whole restore thing?

  • It won't make a difference, however, it will make the second restore quicker if you do.
