  • @kphillips012 im sorry but your point is irrelevant, BECAUSE FORD is actually outselling HONDA not TOYOTA

  • American cars are shit, thats it. People make fun of Jap cars because they have small engines... okay lets get this straight. American cars have big engines because they're cheaply built and need it to make more power. Jap engines have small, well-built engines. My accord 3.5L v-6 has 280 hp. gets 25 mpg. My friends 2008 mustang 4.0L v-6 has 210 hp and gets 15 mpg. American cars are garbage and shouldn't be mentioned on a Toyota video.

  • Toyota should be ashamed of making this car. I have never seen a Toyota with lower quality than this thing..... ever. I keep reading horror stories about bad trannies, steering lines, and interior parts that don't line up properly. Sounds more like a chrysler than a Toyota to me....

I LOVE Toyota but seriously, I hope they fixed these quality issues with the mid cycle refresh for 2012...

  • My mom is trying to get rid of her 2006 4runner for this.

  • the 2009-present Toyota Venza is assembled in

    Georgetown, Kentucky, United States

  • TOYOTA SUCKS DICK

  • Is this the same as the Matrix in North America?

  • Nissan < Toyota

    all day.

  • Looks like an Urban Outback.

How is it in snow and/or mud? I could not find many vids of that AWD in use, like I can with the Outback.

  • it's not confused you stupid cunt!

  • I love the Venza!!

  • long live the recall king toyota.

funny I notice only old fools who believe in mythical tales of quality buy toyotas. The younger people are going back to domestics

  • Toyota has very good looking cars. They always have. I would prefer a Toyota than a Cadillac. Two reason : Price and looks. Compare the Venza to the Escalade, then reply to my comment

  • @BigTMoney121 The Escalade is in a totally different class then the Venza so it wouldn't be right to compare them.

  • Wow, quite a lot of criticism about the utility of this. I have a truck and a sports car and do a fair amount of skiing/biking/kitesurfing. Typical sedans are hard to load gear into, and trucks and SUV's drive like crap (in my opinion). This is a comfortable and practical vehicle with some style. If you can't see the utility of this thing, then it probably means that you just like to ride high, pay for gas, and that's fine! This will probably replace my truck as Toyota #6.

  • it s good visit

  • i do not like it

  • where is the time i mean watch in the toyota 2009?

  • .........................................

  • Watch this trend. iphone+laptop = ipad. sedan+SUV = venza/CUV/crosstour/grantouring(5series). People trying to get the best of both worlds. Does it work? Well, look at critics on ipad or these.... i don't know... waste of production?

  • Guinmaan ,You call yourself an auto enthusiast,,,I say,you are an asshole,,,end of story,,,

  • You people make me sick. Cuz YOU demand these pieces of sedan/SUV shit, they're wasting raw materials. Now ALL fucking automakers are making these. They say it's got benefit of both sedan SUV. But in reality it's got disadvantages of both sedan SUV. How is this in any way a better choice than SUV? less space. Same mpg. More fun? no. Can't do offroad. Price same.

  • Please everyone read this link about Toyota hiring former NHTSA employees who are investigating Toyota crashes! 40% of all US congressmen in the last 10 yrs. Millions given by japanese companies to consumer union who publishes consumer reports - who doesn't disclose specific donators! Where are the 20 yr old toyota's handed down to their kids like our families 20 yr old Ford's our kids drive? currentpoliticalscene dotcom/2010/02/toyota-ethics-problems-indication-of dot html

  • ...thats 40% of all us congressman have recieved donations from toyota over the last 10 yrs!

  • @guinmaan

I have a 1986.5 Supra (23 years old) that was sold to me by my uncle, it still runs strong.

  • @RezTek013 how many head gaskets blown? (if straight 6 your ok) LOL! You must live in a dry belt because even if it ran there would be no car left...LOL! I knew there had to be at least ONE out there - congratulations!

  • @RezTek013 ...sure it does after how many head gasket repairs etc.? Our 20 plus year old cars never had heads off or any major surgery. Doubtful the character limit allows your major repair history.

  • many comments done by guinmaan,.. haha! i dont have a toyota, well i dont even have a car.. well acually i dont even have my lisence.. and i cant get my lisence because im not legal age. but i was hoping to get this car or a honda. i want a lexus es350 but f-no i have the money lolz

  • Also, Id suggest you watch this video back and forth. It was done by Edmunds... not by me, or the other guy, or the next below him... THEY said it performs very well for what it is: A tall sedan with SUV-like room. Have a nice day.

  • WOW, this guinmaan dude got the whole day to reply everybody with words of hate. Like, man... chill up! Its just a flippin car! You even said my sunglasses were gay. LOL! I believe your whole body and mind must be gay, but not your sunglasses, no!

When I said about all these sites, they ACTUALLY DO praise the Venza for what it is. If you don't like it, hell... what are you even doing here? Go with your mom's Ford to the supermarket. I'll go college in my Toyota to finish my degree in engineering

  • My mom purchased a Venza back in Nov 09 & we love it! We have been on two Road trips to date & this car performs Great on the highway, it performs even better in the city! Our trade-in was a GMC Envoy(ugh worst auto we ever own out of 15), She wanted to move down to a Affordable Sedan thats was more reliable, elegant, get way Better gas mileage than the Envoy. Its drive so much like a car(I have an IS 300) u forget about the Hatch! Love our Silver Toyota Venza!

  • [@ guinmaan:You must have a lot of time to 1) Make enough money to buy both trucks 2) Have enough time to tear the tucks piece by piece and 3) Have enough time to vigorously test every single screw and panel on each truck ]SO MR. COCKY - Tell me EVERY single comparison YOU could make. Wanna hear my theory. YOU went on GOOGLE and SEARCHED up FACTS. YOU didn't compare the trucks piece by piece therefore... YOU HAVE NO LIABILITY ON YOUR FACTS AND YOUR OPINION IS FULL OF SHIT. Don't bother messaging

  • what an insightful reply....gee with all of that brain power of yours you'd think that you'd do some homework to see what a true POS a turdra truck really is. It will probable serve you well enough if you maintain it and don't work it very hard. Never the less the tundra is woefully substandard next to an F150 or a dodge ram 1500. End of story. Have you had your 3 recall issues fixed? None of your semantics change the fact of what lies beneath your Turdra's skin. nice Fisher price inter.

  • my mom just got one a while ago...I was surfing the net on my room and she told me to look out the window...I saw the car and I was like....DAMN!!!!!

    (in a good way damn)...^_^

  • Seriously the first time I saw this car I gotta admit I hated it but then I saw it face to face. It looked lower than u see in the clip and freakin better than in a picture. I totally felt in love with it! No wonder there's an outbreak of Venzas in Montreal...I see one every 5-10 minutes that I drive already!

  • jaridw01 you got much american pride ford was being sued by god knows how many people before they filed bankruptcy seat belts braking in car crashes come on id rather know at least my belt clamp broke in the due to a 2000+ pound machine hit than it braking and me going through windshield toyota isn't called most reliable because people they have an asian fetish its because its true

  • ...wrong, chrysler recall dufus.

Youra a moron- do some research

  • no it wasn't dumbass it was on the news it was ford that the little boy died in that many people was complaining about you do some research stop touching yourself and watch the news every now and then

  • Jarid

I have worked for both Toyota and Ford

No contest in quality or safety

    Crash tests, Toyotas always dominate

Rollovers are less than 10% of crashes

This is a great car, and you can't stand it

    Deal with it!

  • ....liar! What crash tests did a Toyota EVER dominate? Put down the pipe! Your lying like a sidewalk...just like toyota!

  • Why don't you do a little research and look up the crash tests of the last decade?

Before you open up your ignorance for the world to see

  • Why don't you...I don't see any Toyota/Lexus products rated as a TOP SAFETY PICK by the IIHS anywhere? Do you? I see domestics top rated all over the place.

The prior generation and down camrys and corollas scored poor to sub par in IIHS REAR CRASH TESTS FOR DECADES! Almost every car scores half decent in frontal/offset crashes - look a little closer at ALL the categories and only look at IIHS NOT NHSTA BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT INSURANCE COMPANIES BASE THEIR PREMIUMS ON.

  • Your a complete idiot. No contest all right. Toyota is cheap crap and ALWAYS has been.

Take a new tundra pick up truck apart and look at the rad, the oil pump, the tranny cooler, the frame, the hub carriers the lower control arms the rear suspension, the box mounting hardware etc. etc. .... and do the same with an F150 pickup ...and compare the components - then get back to me and tell me about quality and safety you fucking waste of skin!

  • lol your just another one of those people you cant see the tree before the forest

  • Basically he's an ignorant ass. LOL agree with you.

  • Then how come Tundras were aceing IIHS crash tests, quality awards, and customer ownership surveys YEARS before Ford and Chevy?

Why does Ford feel the need to lie about how much an F-150 will tow?

    F-150 can't tow it's own weight, much less 11k

F-150 is a joke, and everybody knows it

    2001 it sold 900k+ units

    2009 less than 400k

    What's up with that?

Is that a sign of quality, strength, happy owners?

    Oh..........

I think I just heard a toilet flush

  • your a clown. Quit talking from your ass. Kindly cite the Turdra's awesome crash stats because that's not what I'm reading on the IIHS web site. If Toyota trucks are so good than how come Toyota didn't submit a Turdra for the new IIHS roof standards and test and then complained about being panned by the IIHS when they invited Toyota to send their vehicles and gave them 2 yrs. to get ready?

The F150 will out haul a turdra any day - not once on a drag race....

  • ....it's highly unlikely that toyota would like to do the 10k towing drag race over and over hot lap and see which truck will break first. Do you think it might be the one with the tiny rad, oil cooler, tranny cooler, water pump, oil pump? Even a fucking MORON can figure that out. You guys should feel good though because your Turdra can do it AT LEAST ONCE FASTER THAN A FORD! ....but then I don't know many guys who like drag racing while towing 10k. what a valid test toyota..(sarcasm off)

  • ....a shrinking market - so what? This coming from a Turdra lover who has seen one Turdra plant already close and declining sales - What Toyota sold 45K or so Turdra's last year? WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU BRAGGING ABOUT?! Even if your semantic argument had relevance ..... THE TURDRA IS STILL A WOEFULLY UNDER ENGINEERED OVERPRICED PIECE OF SHIT!

  • @toyotas2006 acing IIHS crash tests? When the fuck was this? Do you just make shit up? Tundra's are in fact the laughing stock truck on construction sites etc. where trucks are actually worked like trucks. Do your own investigation and ask around some! Hell you through a few sheets of gyproc in a turdra and the tail gate cracks in half! Toyota's been paying off Consumer Reports and other US media for decades! 3 recalls and several TSB's on new turdra 'is that a sign of quality,...etc'

  • @guinmaan Like your sorry ass knows? You mean the construction site you sell sandwiches at?

  • @toyotas2006 ...says a kool aid swilling toyotabot who doesn't want to know the truth about what overpriced substandard shit that toyotas are and ALWAYS have been. You don't have a clue what these lying bastards have been doing for decades! Fact is that MEN WHO WORK TRUCKS LAUGH AT TUNDRAS like when the tail gate cracks in half over a routine load of sheetrock. DID I STUTTER?...THAT'S RIGHT...THE TUNDRA IS THE LAUGHING STOCK OF CONSTRUCTION SIGHTS...FACT!

  • @toyotas2006 ...and this sorry ass apparently knows a lot more about the car industry than you do...so what does that make you? An utter dumb fuck who knows heresay and somebody that had a camry that was reliable...big deal. A dumb fuck who believed retarded Toyota videos and likes a bouncy noodly frame flexing hwy ride who believes that with this under engineered POS it tows more/better than a Ford with electronic sway control and beefier everything! only a retard would have a valid excuse

  • @toyotas2006 ...hit up a few construction sites for yourself...make sure you show up in plain view in your Turdra so they can all see you pull up...and look at their faces! LMFAO!

    Dumbass!

  • @toyotas2006 that's why they are FORD: FixOrRepairDaily LOL I love my G8T Toy! Avalon's the standard for luxury or you can pay extra for the Lex name . . .

  • Wanna hear my theory. I'm an auto enthusiast who has driven more different brands/ models of cars likely than every poster on this video. I do some work on my own vehicles, I pay attention to industry detail and I do my homework before selecting a vehicle. Toyotobots do not do homework, believe in a false quality myth, and is the farthest thing from an auto enthusiast! IF YOU DID YOUR FUCKING HOMEWORK YOU'D KNOW THE TUNDRA IS CHEAP! ONE RIDE ON FWY EMPTY AND A LOOK AT DASH TELLS ALL!

  • @toyotas2006...right no contest. Ford better every time. Gee the Japs are crying about not being able to access the same quality of steels as the domestics...No Toyota products currently an IIHS 'top safety pick' in ANY segment! Camrys/Corrolas of previous generation down all crashed below avg to poor in rear IIHS crash tests. Is this 'domination'? Toyota failed to submit trucks/suvs for new IIHS roof crash test standard. Check out Forddotcom and see truth about trucks to see ....

  • @guinmaan ....the 'quality' components of the Tundra vs. the Ford F150 (especially roof construction) very revealing of Toyota's cheapo ways LOL! Toyota's paid millions in out of court settlements in roll over injury/death suits kept under wraps by confidentiality agreements, systematically abusing the legal system by with holding vital evidence of engineering short comings. 'great car' = a pregnant camry station wagon?!....NOT! Typical Toyota fan semantics based on mythical fairy tales.

  • @toyotas2006 Why didn't Toyota submit trucks and Suv for new IIHS crash test standards to IIHS? Why is Toyota paying off victims with confidentiallity agreements and hiding evidence of their substandard roof structure in lawsuits. Former head attorney is blowing the whistle on Toyota....is it because toyota's are so fucking great. With the facts that are now coming to light about toyota, ONLY THE NOT SEARCHING FOR TRUTH, LOOKING GLASS TOYOTA KOOL AID DRINKERS WOULD SUPPORT OR OWN A TOYOTA.

  • @toyotas2006 ....kindly show some proof instead of your bullshit fantasies? Dominate what? Formula 1 racing ?(recently quit and leave F1 with engineering legacy of highest budget and DNF ratio in history)...nope Crash test prowess? NO VEHICLES IN ANY SEGMENT LEXUS' INCLUDED IN IIHS 'TOP SAFETY PICK' YET DOMESTICS ABOUND...Toyota did not send but three vehicles and no trucks or suv's for new IIHS roof test standards....nope. Great car?. number of auto media reviews claiming this...zero. BS

  • @toyotas2006 Sorry asshat your claims are utterly false 'and you can't stand it'. A camry wagon a great car and 'I can't stand it'...not likely. What I can't stand is the utter tunnel vision blind brand loyalty of the MORONS who think Toyota's are worth their hard earned money. If you all knew the truth about what a malfeasant, lying anti american POS Toyoda and his gang are most of you'd never touch a toyota

  • @guinmaan Dude!

Get a job, or a friend or something

    Go away!

  • @toyotas2006 LMFAO! yea..cuz thats def why Toyota cars killed 30+ ppl :) fuckin idiot. maybe u legitmently worked for toyota and got the bitch job at ford. must be why ford is outselling toyota 4to1 ? or why fords stock is been in the green more often this year? MUST BE ;)

  • @kphillips012 At least I'm not in my mother's basement, acting like I'm looking for a job. Stop piddling your pud, and get your name off the orange juice, tooltime

    Ford is doing some things

But Toyota can buy and sell Ford anytime they want.

  • @toyotas2006 HAHAHAH nice assumption u fuckin tool lmao def DONT live w my mom, dont be but hurt cuz the toyota name will NEVER be what it was, why u ask? cuz they sell cars that they dont give a fuck if ppl die behind the wheel. all due to there LACK of safety inspections. really? is that why ford is out selling the shit out of toyota on all aspects? go learn something and retire your "know it all" youtube aquired degree you ass clown lmao.

  • The most fun you can have driving a Toyota,is driving past the repair shops, which are filled with Chrysler,Gm and Ford products...

  • lmao...soo soo true

  • my Toyota Camry 2000 has run 175,000 miles and I get oil changed every 3000 miles, and the car is still a beauty. Toyota cars are built to last. word of caution: Toyota is not built for lunatics.

  • Where did all the rusty truck frames that are piled behind the toyota dealer come from then? Were they domestics? Why does Toyota have repair facilities anyways? Do they fix all the domestics!'

Your such a brain dead Kool aid sipping waste of skin it's truly nauseating.

  • @rathmullan2 Well u wont be able to stop because your accelerator pedal will be stuck so yea you will definately be driving past EVERYTHING :)

  • @rathmullan2.....then your car accelerated out of control and you crashed into a repair shop...you fucking waste of skin. apparently you didn't know that BEFORE the unintended acceleration problem in Toyotas that THEY STILL WERE THE MOST RECALLED BRAND SINCE 06! Guess what moron! Toyota's riding on a badge and a myth as many vehicles are more reliable today and in fact even the worst vehicles sold aren't statistically much worse..so maintenance and driving style is more import. than brand

  • @rathmullan2 kill yourself

  • Comment removed

  • @smashbrosfan13 k..whats worth more a 1970 mustang or a 1970 toyota...il wait :)

  • @rathmullan2 Then you fucking woke up!....and toyota is the most recalled brand since 06....your a deluded moron to make such a statement. There IS no fun to be had driving a Toyota - PERIOD!....Unless your obviously an ignorant blindfolded to the world around them over 60 yrs. old type who had a POS GM fwd a body in the 80's and swore off domestics forever!

  • Respond to this video... Venza - A GIANT, UGLY CAMRY STATION WAGON FOR THE GERIATRIC SET WITH FAILING SENSES AND STRONG BELIEF IN AUTOMOTIVE FAIRY TALES! HOW COME ONLY OLD PEOPLE BUY TOYOTA'S NOW? ANSWER: BECAUSE A MUCH LARGER PERCENTAGE OF YOUNGER PEOPLE CAN USE A COMPUTER AND MAKE BUYING DECISIONS BASED ON ANALYSIS AND CRITICAL THINKING AS OPPOSED TO OLD MYTHS AND BELIEFS

  • i just got my venza last month it's nice car in & out and performance five stars.

but it has a serious problem comes with The front cabin's, air noise caming form fornt doors.

i took it back to the dealer to get fix make storie short, and after they called toyota main company and drove anther branew venza they told me it's normal to hear that noise sound like i have my doors open. I HOPE THIS COMMENT HELPS! BEFORE YOU GUYS BUY AND ALSO IF YOU ALREADY HAVE 1 YOU SHOULD LISTEN TELL THE DEALER.

  • That's typical Toyota 'they all do that'. The guy above claims that if you own a Toyota the most fun you can have is driving by the repair shops filled by domestics. Why does Toyota even have a repair shop then? How come your toyota needs to be fixed? This can't be true!

  • Dude, show them the riveted gas cover, the USA vin, the enormous pricetag, the abstract controls, ect.........

  • Your a sucker.

  • The sheeple are waking up. Ford is kicking the shit out of toyota in NA and Ford is the number 1 car company in north america outselling Toyota considerably. Only a dumb ass would pay top dollar for a pregnant camry in disguise cuv that drives like garbage - hell if you want a cuv for basic transportation and you don't care about performance (toyota fan) than why pay a premium for a Venza! If it's all about A to B then why not by a Hyundai/Kia, save money and take the huge warranty?

  • I like the car a lot. Interior and exterior is well made. :)

In my opinion, the back of the car reminds me a lot of a volvo.

  • I love the posh interior, but the exterior is just so damn fugly! Ugh... i really cant find one angle of the car that looks good from the outside. Why couldnt Toyota just make a simple, nicely proportioned Camry wagon instead of this crossover/minivan- looking thing?

  • Not everyone has the same boring taste as you. Are you blind? This car is aggressive and stylish anywhere you look. Tell you what you stay in the past, the crossover is the future as if you can't tell every car maker now has one. How many are selling wagons? Dumb ass!

  • Crossovers are the worst segment of vehicles currently on the market. You get worse cruising comfort and fuel efficiency than a sedan, less utility than an SUV, disproportional body shapes, the list could go on...

And did you seriously just ask me what brands sell wagons? Ever hear of Subaru, Volvo, Saab, Audi, BMW , Mercedes, Jaguar, Cadillac, or Mazda??

Ever been to Europe or Asia before? get real, take your head out of your ass and embrace the fact that a wagon is more practical.

  • hahaha look at how many crossovers have been sold , and you wanna talk about ugly and disproportional body shapes , what about that ugly piece of shit mercedes came out with like the B series and R series .

  • @SteveLawler31 , never said ALL crossovers were ugly (even if they are all basically glorified station wagons). I understand why they are becoming successful. (Americans are FINALLY starting to realize the impracticality of an SUV). I just find this venza deplorable. I like Toyota's other crossovers alot, though (RAV4, Highlander) they are actually attractive. This isnt.

And i agree with you about the Merc R-class. (lol) Just b/c im a Benz fan doesnt mean i like ANY Mercedes.

  • Nice car... too bad it looks like a Pontiac Aztek ,butt ugly....

  • Comment removed

  • must do test drive on this car...

looks like comfy and its seat very comfy ..

just wait until you drive this thing on bumpy roads, very bumpy, is it sports sedan?

I'm thinking alot of ppl look at this intead of minivan who are intimidate by size of SUVs..

  • gee for 35K what would I rather have..... a camry in disguise, featuring a 15+ yr. old platform venza, that does 0-60 in 8.6 sec short on style, utility, quality, fun to drive with that x factor that makes it special, and crash worthyness, or a 8.5 sec Ford Flex based on a volvo S80 with far more style, utility, quality, superior safety ratings, more unique features, and certainly a superior drive, not to mention it has that unique 'x' factor the just another cuv looking venza cleary lacks

  • "style" is entirely subjective, "utility" depends on people's needs, and "drive" is again subjective

the venza has an X factor for me, that's for sure...and the flex is ugly as all get out

  • So X factor to you equates to a pregnant camry in disguise? Hell you can name at least 6 cuvs that offer far more of an inspiring drive than a lousy reskinned camry! What's with you toyota lovers?! Get out and drive some different vehicles! It's painfully obvious that toyota lovers have woefully low expectations of what 'fun to drive' equates too. Toyota reliability is a total myth. New car problems from the best to the worst is statistically negligible. Buy based on safety and value.

  • what *you* need to do is realize that taste in driving differs for everyone. i know at least a dozen people who'd rather drive a beat-up pickup than a mustang or camero

and your statement about "value" almost made me laugh...you basically finished saying "ignore value" just before

  • Actually the really never have offered much of anything. Their quality is a myth built by word of mouth of soccer moms and old men, while many mechanics over 45 yrs. old are quite aware of Toyota's falsely built quality reputation built on deceit in the 80's and early 90's by secretly fixing defects on customer's cars while in for routine service. Ask around some older mech's. No documentation = great quality on paper, but with full disclosure today toyota's the most recalled.car since 06

  • lmao..calm the hell down dude....are u gay? LOL

  • u are a stupid ass toyota is the best car in the world no one can touch it it is reliable and stong and u hav no fucking idea wat the mechanics do in the shop so how the fuck can u assume that hey does fix little faults in te car huh everybody loves toyota it is the most driven car on ther oad u dumb peice of shit

  • toyota is reliable, no doubt

Exterior - ugly, execept the supra and MR2

    Interior - uncomfortable and cheap

overall, i would never buy one.

also it gives you a bad status when talking to babes,

"what car do you drive" - toyota -"oh"

"what car do you drive"- mercedez "OHHHHHHH, take me home"

trust me I use my dads benz when i go out, and it works.

  • lol.. that's so sad..

i kept my benz in my garage and drove my 1989 toyota prado when i dated my girlfriend so that I knew that she loved me instead of the damn car..

    no offense.. :peace:

  • true, thats why you say i have a normal car when your lookng for serious relationships, but back in the day...the benz was used for one night stand!! lol

  • do you like scions?

  • your a moron. Toyota spends less $ per unit man'f. than ANY other car company. They profit more per unit than any other company as well. Stupid Kool aid drinking sheeple like you lap it up. Offering dated ancient vehicles with sheet metal and interior updates, anyone who is remotely an auto enthusiast with any auto acumen at all, know that Toyota's drive like shit, offer sub par safety (camrys performed poorly in rear end collisions IIHS tests for 20 yrs), offering poor bang for the buck.

  • The party's comming to an end for toyota. Now the #2 automaker in the U.S. and #3 in canada. With losses of around 8 billion in the first quarter of 09, the smug, complacent attitude of Toyota is finally catching up with them. Now the most recalled brand since 06, Toyota's weak line up consists primarily of ancient dated platforms like the camry which seems to be the bones of 60% of their product are wearing thin. This venza looks different but drives as uninspiring as the camry it is...

  • .....and even the frequent flying to japan gratis auto journalists are beginning to swarm Toyota and calling their product out for what it is... just another shitty driving camry in disguise. Ford sold 10000 more vehicles than Toyota in Canada, for the month of June and is outselling toyota handily so far for the year as well as in the U.S.....the sheeple are waking up.

  • WHAT A PROPHETIC POST THIS WAS!

  • Is just me or toyota and lexus copying Ford's headlight design and grill (lexus)

  • so beautiful! i hope they sell this car in Europe as well

  • very NICE CAR, man....want to trade in for this one.

  • Camry Outback??

Has anyone took this one for a test drive?

I don't know what they were thinking..

The ride is horrible.. very bouncy and rough ride on local road.. Very disappointed.. Not even compare this highlander soft quiet ride.. Failure of Toyota..

  • You know, maybe not everyone is into squishy soft.

  • I dunno - sure this car is kind of fugly (at least the front is) but it's a nice ride overall. the new outback is still gonna blow it out of the water though.

  • The tail light design is a bit awkward... like half of all the new cars out there...Oh well. Grille is mediocre but makes practically no difference if it is a black Venza with the grille also painted black. I took one for a test drive and found it to have a solid European feel to the suspension if your into that kind of thing (like me). I'm thinking that anyone who thinks this car is unusually ugly is probably stuck in the 90's. I'm literally trading my 4runner in for one next week.

  • a lot of cars in toyota's lineup are based on the camry, which is good, but the camry like styling is getting annoying

  • Camry Outback...plain and simple

  • Too bad they don't know what "venza" means in italian slang!

Guess they won't be selling a single one in Italy.

  • Silmacar,

    so what does venza mean?

  • Looks like a Rav4 and a Camry had a baby.

  • i think it looks better than the new rx

  • I own a venza , the 3.5 v6 is a fantastic engine. If you get a chance to test drive it , go on the highway AMAZINGLY smooth , another thing to try is stomp on the throttle from 60kmh and watch how fast it hits 140kmh. one word of advice is to brace yourself this thing kicks you back in your seat ! i think this is the crossover of the year . Its sexy and has performance

  • ....wow big deal!

  • yeah station wagon but calling it that would put a nail in its coffin.

probably buying one but i don't like how you have to oay over 40 k Canadian to get the JBL stereo. Aftermarket it is!

  • LOL the back looks like a Volvo Wagon to me. I am not saying it copied, just looks like it. Nice car. The front is kind of taken from the 2009 Camry

  • It's a bigger Matrix:) Very nice car

  • real a car toyota

  • looks like wagon.....

  • its supposed to

  • I'd like to see one with a mesh grille like the Camry SE.

    Very impressive though.

  • i love it

  • Nice car. Would luk so nice if it's dropped man.

  • The Venza was designed and engineered in California. Was the new Camry engineered in California as well?

  • looks really nice, better than all other toyotas. but i dont get the talk about sedan, clearly its a station wagon?!

  • no car manufacturer calls their cars station wagons anymore... its a marketing no no since most people consider station wagons to be undesirable and frumpy.

  • then they should call it a crossover or whatever, but calling this a sedan is just making an ass out of oneself.

  • 'Estate' as the brits do, would love to have a bmw m5 estate

  • or "Touring"

  • ive seen one of those with some 22's and it looks sooo nice

  • that car/suv looks so dope

  • there is something about the chrome grille that doesn't suit the rest of the vehicle.

  • I like it..it reminds me of my 06 Malibu Maxx LTZ, a vehicle that I have loved from the very beginning.

  • im not a fan of toyota but i think they did well here.

fast, nice interior, practical, only thing is the grill is ugly.

  • Toyota saw Americans wish for taller cars & boosted up the Camry. Toyota saw pollution and gas prices & built the Prius. Now, Toyota sees a love for SUVs coupled w/ a faltering economy & offers a smaller, less gas-guzzling car-SUV hybrid. Brilliant marketing strategy - paying attention.

  • lol

  • ich liebe toyota

  • In the venzas class, theres a land rover freelander, audi q5, mercedes glk for bmw x3. The venza is not net good in its class

  • ich liebe toyota

  • What were they thinking?! who the heck come up with the idea? It seems like they are having an identity crisis. Had Honda selling that good that Toyota had to add another segment to the confused market? The new Highlander is confusing enough & here comes the Venza and they just made it worst. I'm sure this will sell coz theres a lot of confused buyers out there that's why American auto market is so flooded with generics and re-badged, only in the U.S.

    wish u all good luck.

  • um, Toyota is japanese..

  • Your are absolutely correct, Toyota is Japanese, There's more to it so research some more, better yet travel to Japan and see for yourself what is and isn't when it comes to real toyota.

  • yeah, they have more Toyota options then we do...

  • Hm. I quite like it.

  • saying the car looks CONFUSED, in other words means it looks bad. terrible

  • does it?it looks like a q7 or a pacifica

    much better i think

  • nice :)

  • Comment removed

  • this is a womans car on the outside it looks like shit

  • you must not be into women

  • awsome.

  • I think it is a great size with the benefits of an SUV like vehicle. This video of assets should have included price ranges and gas mileage.

  • *cough*Outback ripoff

  • It gets really far...LOL

  • It has 268 hp..they dont know what their talking about.

  • So, this car is basically a new generation Toyota Camry Wagon to me.

Another great great vehicle via TOYOTA!
