He is right the zones and gun laws are unconstiutional what he fails to say what views did so the supreme court use its the 9th Amendment unholds the 2 via views from the dick Act of 1902. declairs such anti self defense laws as unconstitutional. This fellow is teaching according to the Case Method. To divine the meaning of the Commerce Clause, he never once quotes any of the Founding Fathers; never mentions the Constitutional Convention or the Ratification Debates. Everything revolves around the Supreme Court's interpretation of the clause.

This guy is one of those people that thinks the constitution is a "living, breathing document". A simple study of the charters of England at the time the founders were writing the constitution would show that that sort of thing is the last thing the founders would've left us.

Well, although there are some limitations and pitfalls to living constitutionalism, I would say that even originalists (like, say, Scalia) take pages from it. Take the second amendment for example. The term "the people" would have originally meant white males, able bodied, of a certain age. We changed the meaning as society changed and originalists do not see to find folly in that.

This is as at USC right? I am a junior in high school and want to go to USC for college and I have a 2.9 GPA and recently got my results from my ACT score in which I received a 30. Do you think I will be accepted or is my GPA to low for USC? I am in Chicago and would be paying out-of-state money so that could be a factor since the school would be making more money. I am hoping wherever I go to college that they have professors as good as this guy.

It is NOT an effect ON commerce to grow your own any more than it would be an effect on commerce Not to grow. You cannot FORCE anyone or everyone to grow food to support Commerce. Could the people at large be enslaved and forced to grow food to meet that supply? If they chose not to grow then couldn't the government just force the people to stop having a demand? or whip the slaves until they farmed up a supply? You can not force the masses to grow a supply; nor can you force them NOT to grow.
