Nice work with that QB so far. Nice raggedy-hole group too. Yardage ? It could prove to be a competitive Field Target rig for sure. Besides your custom improvements including that Exotic Woody Stock etc., it is also an inexpensive way to have some FT fun.
I have an AR2078LE and I just love it even though it is one of the cheapest air guns I own. These guns (the Industry Brand QB 78 and it's derivatives)are a diamond in the rough. They are 1950's technology so if you have a set of Allen wrenches and two opposable thumbs they are no harder to work on than Lego. A few hours of quality time tweaking and tuning them up and you will have the poor man's Anschutz.

Yeah they are great for the money, no S410 or anything, but for $140 you can't go wrong lol
This one has been given a full internal tune as well as the breech riser...

I like it :-) If pyramid air starts selling the PCP kits for the QB I will probably buy one to make in to a .308 air rifle.
