last time I checked people, it was the train station that kept st. thomas on the map, the whole reason why st. thomas is a town, is because of the train station. hint the name rail city, the nickname for st. thomas.
Don't get me wrong, alma college was a beautiful building, I really wish they had kept it, it had ALOT of history, but it wasn't the reason it was on the map.
And exactly what RihannaLuva37 said. That school had us on the map. But that was for ever ago. Whats done is done. I understand what those protesters were doing and then some kids lit it on fire? Good job.
omfg we were in school and my friends mom called on my friends cell phone to tell us that the alma college was on fire all me and my friends that go there were so choked(we go there for various reasons, not elabrotaing)im so mad and for various reasons it appears to me the owner doing that is most obvious...

i was on the end of forest(by the church )
and whatching the smoke and fire and then one of the points fell and exploded and i could feel the vibrations like i was right next to it
just to bad some one would do that but it was going down any was still the person who did it can lite there house (or cardbord box) on fire

besides it was jsut gonna sit there until lightning struck it and gone on fire or until it just fell apart!
