Actually, I think there was a resolution, of sorts, to their situation in the first scene of the episode "The Ticket." It's three years after the end of the Bartlet Administration and they're gathered at the opening of his Presidential Library. CJ & Danny are married with a child, Kate has written a book, and Will won the seat in Oregon that he sought later in the series. They weren't standing together, unlike CJ & Danny, implying that they weren't together anymore.
Never in watching this show did it occur to me that they were "will & kate" even since the royal wedding. the title of this video was the first time i realized it. haha.

This was in my opinion one of the finest shows ever on television. The excellent writing was brought to life by this incredible ensemble cast. The chemistry that they were able to convey to the viewer was nothing short of extraordinary. This video highlights that. Thanks for putting this together.

yea, but it's a montage of short, funny moments that i have strung together and hence the closest adjective i could think of was gag-reel. if u feel u were misled, then i apologize.
it feels EXTREMELY awkward and random w/o music to link everything together, so in a word: yes. if u would like i can send it 2 u w/o music so u may hear the dialogue easier, but i would not like 2 post it that way.
*shrug* naa that's not necessary. I didn't really know there was some grand link to it all in your head. A lot of the other WW clips posted around youtube just show the scenes as-is. I just found the music distracting, but that's me. I still like the clips.
