People shouldn't really be bashing on this guy. Looks like an obvious run to get a baseline on things. Wasn't shifting hard and launch was fail. Nobody would have kept it straight with fluid under the tires. I would say more luck than anything not hitting something though.

The fact that jap cars can't make over 300 without FI. And it makes low 13's stock with FI. Most Domestics do that shit stock N/A. TT a 302 and the fucking earth becomes dislodged from orbit. And yeah thats the problem, they have to have the shit tuned out of them to be fast.

1. Pre 90s that was true now it isnt. Look at some of the new infinitis (G35) and the 370z which makes 300hp N/A and the 370z nismo which makes 350 N/A. The new Z makes low 13s stock N/A as well. The Lexus ISF makes high 12s stock N/A. (its a V8)

2. The looks and sound are subjective. The Driver thing is a genreralization and can be said the same about a lot of domestic drivers.

so you hate supra wanna have fans...not the supras.i used to be a supra fan and then a supra bpu owner..i dont believe they are overrated..its quite quick for my everyday life,train on curves and gets quicker very very easily.i spent 500 euro and takes me to 60 in 3-4 seconds depending on the road surface..i really like american cars too but what more do you expect from a car?turbo 3l or n/a v8 you still have the performance

As for having the cars to get the shit tuned out of them to be fast it depends. I agree on civics but look at the GTR, and the ISF. Those are cars that dont need much work to go really fast. As you know the GTR is an 11 second car (it can do that even without launch control if you know how to drive it) and the ISF hits mid 12s all day. The focus of Japanese cars have never been the drag strip though its always been road courses and such.

OK the 2010 GTR doesn't even have launch control and does 11s. Plus the ZR1 is $20,000 more so it just sounds like you are a hater. Nissan Already fixed the issue on older models by using an ECU update that makes launch control work at lower revs and covers the launch control issue. Launch control voids your warranty when you turn it ON. What were you saying again?

But at the end of the day a turbo is far more fuel efficient then a V8 (which is the main reason why pretty much ALL manufacturers are using them in there cars these days. Why do you think GM went bankrupt?
