  • i disagree with everyone.AleKoa you are partial right. you can look at your veins to tell whether cool or warm. but its actually blue, geen veins cool and yellowish for warm. if you people look at the color wheel the greens, blues, are cool reds yellows orange are warm think of the seasons.(just trying to help)i took art and went to cosmetology school.

  • I kind of disagree that brown or gold flecks automatically means warm toned. When I was younger I had platinum blonde hair (cool toned, its an ash blonde)and dark brown eyes. I look good in almost any color. I don't know if I'm cool or warm toned, I'm very confused.

  • wat color of highlights would be a good color for dark browm hair. im having some trouble with wat color highlight would be best for dark brown

  • you can also look at the veins in your wrist, if they are blue or purple you are cool if they are green you are warm, bright white for cool and off white for warm, pink for cool, peach for warm

  • So cool!..lol. no pun intended

  • or...you could do it the easy way and look at the color wheel. if your skin tone is golden, then chose a cool (blue/violet) based color. if your skin is pinky, then a ashy (green) base looks better. the opposite is the same for olive skinned people, try for warmer, red tones. it's easy, just follow the color wheel, and pick the tone opposite to the color of your skin.
