  • Strange you should put this up, because my model railway series is set on a fictional island between Wales and Ireland in St. George's Channel; I find it funny that you should do a fictionalised version of the very island that inspired me to do the series in the first place.

  • on the uktrainsim website, there are four downloads, which one do i download and how do i install it plz help!!!

  • very clever

  • Freshwater has a loop, and two sidings, but just one platform not two. Still looks like a good station though

  • It does say fantasy in the title for any rivet counters out there. Absolutely exellent in my view. Perhaps in a full version the entire network could be covered with a choice of engines/rolling stock. 5 stars and thumbs up. great work

  • very accurate - Freshwater had only one platform - to the right of the train (as it approached from Newport)... and Godshill Station didnt have a level crossing at the end.

  • So I understand; I did not create the route however.

Some of the route is unfinished, which is why I did not show some of the stations. There are problems with the level crossings, kamikaze cars just cross in front of the train, which is why the video has to abruptly end at the junction station Merstone. Also, I coupled the train up incorrectly and filmed a substantial portion of the journey before I noticed that the connecting door was facing rear! Great fun, nevertheless.

This is really great thanks for putting up. Yes there are some glaring inaccuracies but over time some could be corrected I'm sure. The landscaping around Newport isn't quite right, as sxscally said Freshwater is wholly wrong and there are no houses on Afton Road at that position as shown in the background.

Possibly the signals could be made to work or at least be shown in the "off" position - a lot of drivers would be in trouble passing signals at danger.

    A great effort

  • @moonheaver Try to understand that this is a free addon. The WHOLE ISLAND NETWORK COMPLETELY FREE! Well you have to buy the IOW addon for £15.00 but I think its amazing that the rest of the network is free

  • @matthew376 how did you get the rest of like the island i brought the IOW ad on then i dunno how to get the rest of the network that you said is free could you please help?

  • @elliottbatistee It's available for download on UKTrainSim

  • @matthew376thankyou om more thing after i click one download file it says Important: Please disable your download manager (e.g. GetRight, DAP etc) before proceeding, it will NOT work with non-premium downloading did this happen to you if so how do i fix it?

  • @elliottbatistee I upgraded to a premium membership

  • @matthew376 sorry to be a pain but how can i upgrade?

  • @elliottbatistee Just open an account at UkTS, log in, and from the right hand side bar, choose the blue link that says 'H E R E', it is part of text saying "Click H E R E to find out about becoming a Premium Account Holder with Atomic Systems and the benefits it offers to UK TrainSim,..."

  • Nice video but I don't think that Ventnor West ever saw that many passengers!
