  • exactly it is not right, not the way Bruce Lee did it ! Your back shouldn't touch the ground at all. This exercise is being done with lowering your legs & touching your shieldbones.

  • i'm just wondering, did you learn how to do a human flag or dragon flag first? I'm able to do around 5-10 dragon flags but i'm only able to hold a human flag for around 6 seconds :P

  • try to get some kind of bench with a grip .. its better that way .. also you need to improve your form

  • I used a sandbag for counterblance, and it weighs a little over 130 lbs.  If you use weights make sure they're not very light, try using your hands under a couch and having someone sit on it, or even a chair, again with someone sitting on it.

  • @jukcoder Also if you have a partner you could have them place the front of their feet on your hands and you can use them to hold you down.

  • I've started using kettlebells to counterbalance the weight instead of my sandbag, and that takes a lot more coordination

  • can you think of anything else to use as counterbalance because I tried my couch and my bed and they are too light.

  • ur bed is too light? then u must be putting a lot of resistance in ur arms instead of ur abs
