  • The man is simply amazing. Even when he's obviously sick as a dog. I recently suffered another horrible bout of Vertigo. My therapist said it was the worst she'd ever seen. Anyway I don't know how Clay did it this night and a couple of others. There are close up vids of this performance and OMG! talk about crying for him. I miss him already and it's only been 2 weeks since I saw him last. How sad is that?

  • This is still amazing to watch -- he was so sick with vertigo -- have no idea how he managed to sing that well and hit those notes. What a talent! Thank you, Clay.

  • This is even more amazing to watch today. What a performer and how true he is to his fans to always give his best.

  • I'm a classical music fan so I think he can do almost any known mainstream genre of songs. That last note... like something out of an opera.

  • Every time I see this video, it's so emotional. I was there and could not believe that he could do an entire concert sitting on a stool and holding on for dear life. Bless his heart, he never gives in to pain.

  • Got to love the guy for giving 100% when all is obviously not well.

  • Clay is absolutely incredible.....The show must go on....sick or not......

    WE LOVE YOU CLAY!!!!!!

    Hugs,

    Judy

  • Bless his heart. He is balancing himself with the mike stand while sitting on a stool throughout the performance. Not that easy to do when you have vertigo.

    What a Class Act.

  • stunning!

  • I wasn't at this one, but was at West Point and Red Bank where he also had to be helped from the stage. What an incredible performer who gives 100% no matter how ill he may be!

  • I was there. Clay was awesome. Clay is awesome.

  • he is a great singer

  • I always feel so bad for him at the end of the video where I swear it looks like he's going to faint.. he smiles and suddenly the smile fades and his eyes roll back.. creepy! :( I can't believe he went through with the concert when he was feeling that bad!

  • It is beyond me how Clay could sing so beautifully when he was so ill with vertigo.

  • Even in the hard times it's easy to see why we love him so much. PERFECTION!! love ya clay.

  • I have watched this video many times. It always brings me to tears. I cannot believe how well Clay sang while he was sooo sick with Vertigo. I also have had it and it is something that he is just soooo dedicated to his fans. He is one amazing man and performer. I am one of many Clay fans who adore him. I just saw him in Spamalot and he was wonderful - he was too sick to come outside to sign autographs but he did perform in the play and with perfection!!! I might add.

  • I recently had vertigo.....and I could never have done what he did. If anyone doesn't believe in a higher power.....they should rethink things....as this shows a man who is depending on a higher power to get him through the toughest of times. I dare anyone to find me a video of a performer who has performed with a severe case of vertigo.

  • Now this is what you call a preformer! He is so amazing in so some ways! This brought me to tears now! Its the first time I have watched this! Just listening to the lady in video crying for him brought me to tears! He is so devoted to his fans! He is like no other! He will be around for along time! I am so amazed that he is so sick and still nails this song!!!!!!! How many performers can do that? Love him!

  • I was just reading what I wrote lol! I sure messed up that first line lol. I meant to say his so amazing in so MANY ways lol.

  • Ok, I've watched this video so many times since last year, can anyone tell me what he says after he's finished singing and then when Jamie is helping him up? I can't understand it lol

  • Don't take picture of the invalid

    lol

  • Who is Jamie?

  • I spelled 'sad' wrong in my last comment. LOL.

  • I love this video....it's so asd but so beautiful. He was clearly so sick but he sang so well! He is amazing :)

I love him. Plain and simple.

  • ilgbf, firstly, the girl is his COUSIN.

Secondly, if you took the time to watch him do one of these concerts EARLIER in the tour, you'd realise how good he actually is. In fact, he does this pretty bloody amazing for the vertigo he had. Clay got sick, everybody does at sometime.

And now, I offer all a bit of advice: IGNORE!!!

    Kylie xx

  • RESPECT !!!!

Singing like that when you have vertigo .... just amazing !!

Still making jokes when he leaves the stage ... but looking at him you can see he's feeling misserable !

He had to hold on tight so he didn't fall ... but he gave 200% ... what an incredable performance !!!

Thanks for sharing ... I understand why you where crying ... I was too after watching this video !

  • Wow....I had vertigo in May...for the first time in my life. I can't believe Clay Aiken had it in him to do a concert with it. I couldn't even turn my head without getting dizzy and sick. What a trooper. No wonder he and Jimmy Kimmel are great friends. They both want to please there fans despite any illnesses.

  • LOL..you must be getting off lots today eh ilgbf, you can't stay away for more than a few hours...sicko!!!

  • Youtube or owner of video, please have ilgbf removed from here. That goes WAY beyond 'freedom of speech!!!!

  • Thank You very much! He should be banned from this site! There is something wrong with him! I wonder how you contact youtube!

  • That was not a very nice comment, please don't make bad comments, if you don't like him just don't say anything at all, he was not drunk, he was very sick he had vertigo.

  • I think it best to ignore this ?person? It's embarrassing to know that he gets off while watching Clay & typing dirty stuff!!

  • hi, those who are making the rude comments please don't.

  • Hi, I hope you will rethink these comments that you have made and realize that Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins, John 3:16 says For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth him should not perish, but have everlasting life. I hope you reconsider and pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart and forgive you of your sins. Please don't hesitate to write me back. I will pray for you eventhough I don't know you I will pray for you.

  • i think i just told u this or maybe it was someone else on a different vid. if u dont like him stop watching his vids. because other people that do like him dont want to come on here and see these negative comments towards him. so get a life and stop being jealous because u cant sing as good as him

  • poor clay!

  • What did he say near the end when the girl walked over to him and he got up to walk out?
