I feel very sorry for the demise of Iris Chang, such a young life ! I also feel very sorry for the brainwashed Chinese, who have been used as a bunch of useful tools by their filthy rulers.
The so called Massacre / Rape of Nanjing was complete fake, created by the Chinese gov't to use Japan's past as a scapegoat, to cover its own political problems.
@TheSalmonfan you have ben brainwashed by US propaganda. well is not weird since japan is a US puppet state. so nanking massacre is fake? then the wake island massacre and the death march of bataan must also be fake.
The number of the 'cases of rape' Chinese claim is from 20,000 to 80,000 cases. Suppose Japanese took this number, there should have been from 500 to 2,000 cases of rapes occurred daily. This number is absolutely not trustworthy.
@UndertakerRach I would like say that most Japanese students finish high school convinced that Japan invaded China because of self defense, the rape of Nanking never happened, and everything china says is propaganda. I grew up in the west, I know the truth, and I have conscience. YOU DON'T! So stop posting evil, ignorant comments before you get murdered!
@xkd1995 Japan as other western nations was imperialistic they tried to expand at the expense of their weaker neighbors,China was not the attacker even with propaganda japan was still the atacker
■“China's Textbooks Twist and Omit History by Howard W. French. New York Times on December 5, 2004. Most Chinese students finish high school convinced that their country has fought wars only in self-defense, never aggressively or in conquest, despite the People's Liberation Army's invasion of Tibet in 1950 and the ill-fated war with Vietnam in 1979, to take two examples. Similarly, many believe that Japan was defeated largely as a result of Chinese resistance, not by the United States.
@undertakerRach Stop spreading rubbish. My friend is quarter Japanese because his grandmother was raped by Japanese soldiers. You're a joke. We're not brain washed by the CCP.
@Flightlevel23 Chinese victims couldn’t receive any medical treatment for they had no money. Chiang Kai-shek said, “You can get medical treatment for free in hospitals if you said Japanese injured you.” That’s why; poor Chinese claimed “we were hurt by Japanese.” They told outrageous lies and false publicity. In conclusion, Japanese should tell the true history because Chinese government has publicized faked stories even now.
At least 147 of pictures were distorted by the Chinese government.
The Chinese government would never to propaganda to promote the citenzens to hate the citizens of another country, however it is very likely that the Japanese government brainwashes their citizens in order to cover their crimes. Although the westerners are now having a good impression of Japan, they will finally find out their dirty secrets; although China isn't making a good impression to the westerners, they will one day that the Chinese are the most compassionate and sincere!
@xkd1995 "The Chinese government would never to propaganda to promote the citenzens to hate the citizens of another country," that is not true. The chinese have propaganda to hate americans. And capatalists. Chinese are very nice however communists are not
If the Japanese still has any conscience, they should apologize the countries who suffered deeply from them, like what the Germans did, and regret forever to prevent the Nanking massacre happening again. Who can guarantee that the Japanese will not launch another invasion in the next 20 years? I hope that Japan restores friendship with other Asian countries, but if they fail to do so, then truth will eventually make them suffer, and they will be punished by God!
@ UndertakerRach The massacre was too obvious and grand, and should be as famous as the Jewish Holocaust! Don't try to make ridiculous excuses like the Communist party killed a lot of rebels, or use a few invalid photographs to fool people. Because these can never justify millions of brutal murder, rape, and torture of the Chinese people!
@UndertakerRach YOU should be ASHAMED of yourself! You are now repeating the crimes that the Japanese committed 70 years ago. You post comments on every single video about Nanking, denying all atrocities your nation had committed. You are distorting history, you are disparaging the souls of those victims, and you are challenging the nature and conscience of the humankind! Any single question about the number of deaths in the Nanking massacre would be an insult to the Chinese nation, because thi
@UndertakerRach. Why would the Communist party do propaganda for the Chinese citizens to hate citizens of another country? Why would they target Japan, not UK or Russia?
Iris Chang was very sad because she did not know these crimes were caused by Chinese guys. Chinese government created so many fabricated pictures of the Nanking Massacre. In fact most of murders and looting were caused by Chinese soldiers. Chinese government took these pictures and appealed these crimes were caused by the Japanese. Iris Chang was also cheated by Chinese government. Iris Chang was used by Chinese propaganda.
@undertakerRach the Japanese are the smartest group? dumbass. China was the smartest country in the world with over 120 countries doing studies about it. Also no race is the smartest there are different levels of intelligence for different groups of people.
@TheReeeeeech Story of smart or not is not related to the fake story of Nanking.
China has no right to accuse Japan of crimes such as the Nanking Massacre because the massacre was made up story using fabricated evidence. Obviously what China says is pure fiction! Demonstration of this story by the Chinese government is libel and slander. It is natural that Japanese raising an objection.
The Japanese committed horrible atrocities in China, the Philipines, and in prisoner of war camps and in special medical experiment facilities. They were as bad as the Nazis.
whether anot these are real events or not,I guess we can all agree that ww2 claimed lots of lives.Whether the persercution of jews were real or the nanking massacre was real, the war is long over. No use dwelling over it. War is a horrible.War is just wrong. Nazis got punished jap cmmanders got punished. Its over.Whats important is to make sure this will never happen again
Iris Chang was an agent provocateur sent by Chinese government. She was sent to spread another Communist China Propaganda by selling a book full of false information. Photos used in this book are well known as composite photos and things written in the book are not based on conclusive investigation. This book was sold nearly half million copies in the US with malice to brainwash the Americans. But such nonsensical book with no historical evidence with legitimacy cannot deceive all of us.
Chinese government has taught wrong history to school kids. The fundamental reason for that is the Chinese Communist Party became the core power that united the nation. For these reasons, no one learns that 30 million people died from famine because of catastrophic decisions made in the 1950's, during the Great Leap Forward, by the founder of Communist China, Mao Zedong and the 1989 protests in Tiananmen Square. Can we call this mind controlled? I think YES!
According the NYT, a teacher said a blistering pace, during a lecture on China's relations with the world from 1929 to 1939 in one of this country's, Japan decided to pursue its own longtime desire for a continental empire, and attacked China. I heard teachers have used 1937 pictures which showed the fake of Nanking Massacre. That’s why what Chinese people in youtube said were so one-sided.
(Part3)Since the People's Republic of China was established in 1949, the frequency of its use of military forces reaches the double digits. On average, China has used military power every several years. In all cases, except for its support of North Vietnam war against South Vietnam, China has used force preemptively. China attacked the opponent first after careful preparation, whereas the opponent suffered from a surprise attack.
(Part2)Today, the China is controlled by the Chinese Communist Party and the Japan is democracy. While history should not be forgotten, we must also judge a country by its current actions. A recent survey of world public opinion from 2005 to 2007 found that Japan is the country most widely viewed as having a positive influence, which is helped by the fact that Japan has never used military power as a means for settling international conflicts after 1945.
(Part1)”Conflict Prevention and Confidence Building Measures between Japan and China” by Vice Admiral (Ret.) Fumio Ota, Ph.D. Published on January 5th, 2009 ARTICLES
Chinese leaders always say to Japanese leaders that Japan should look at history as a mirror. It means that Japan should not forget her brutal actions against China during the Sino-Japanese conflict in the late 1930s and the beginning of the 1940s. However, since this period Japan and China have changed considerably.
U.S. 4-star General Wesley Clark (Ret.), explains that the Bush Administration planned to take out 7 countries in 5 years: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Iran (2007 upto 2012)

"Japan’s government, threatened with more HAARP attacks, pays 60 trillion yen to Feds"
there were already westerners in Nanking that were fighting to keep the Chinese population safe from the hands of the Japanese . The members of the Nanking Safety Zone commitee which were in charge of their protection was: Ernest Forster, Lewis Strong, John Rabe, Casey Smythe, Eduard Sperling, George Fitch . Both John Rabe and another member of the Internation commitee was Minnie Vautrin, both whom have written extensively about and even documented .
@scottweise18 ...it's really hard to read your comments with a grain of salt when I know nothing of you...fill out your bio if you are a real person...
@B3boy Lolololol yea right I'm not a real person ? Funny that I can write all that down and tell my side of the story if I wasn't . And another thing I'm in no way trying to damage the truth . But I won't let anger get the best of me until it's completely justified and knowing all the facts first is a part of that justification . I won't read a story from some half-baked journalist who isn't even an historian and let it pass as irrefutable facts . I read about Nanking from my book:
@B3boy LOLOL I'm not the one creaming at the top of his lungs shouting: I PERSONALLY CHARGE THIS NATION FOR THAT BLAH BLAH BLAHHH . xD . Dude ur hilarious . Lolololol . And I mean that for real . Not sarcastically . An A-class comedian . LOL . I've had fun but I'm outta here ! Peace ! LOLOLOL . Sighhhsss .
@B3boy Soldiers of the Sun: the Rise and fall of the Imperial Japanese Army . I read why they commited the massacres..... well as much as is known about it and it had nothing to do with her ridiculous and damaging claim that the Japanese people are naturally savage and their entire culture and history boils down to mass murder which is not only stereotypical but damaging to the Japanese identity and world perspective of what really happened .
@scottweise18 ...when push comes to shove, an entire culture can be convinced to murder...or to look the other way. It happens all the time and even to this day...
@B3boy Yea ur right . Not an entire culture, but an entire people with the possible exception of a few, can partake in the savagery themselves . But to say that mass murder boils down from the way a culture is developed or their history is not only stereotypical, it's damaging and racist believe it or not . It would be like saying that all Germans are Nazis and that all Germans hate Jews and that our culture and histoy lead us down that path of extermination when in actual fact it wasnt .
@B3boy The Holocaust was created out of the desperation Germany was in after WW1, the ideals of Prussian militarism and the notion that subordinates should always obey their superiors even to the point of swearing it on their lives, the radicalism that flourished during the Great Depression all over Europe and even in Japan (Spain, Italy, Germany, Japan) and even Allied nations like the UK and America had their groups of radicalists taking hold . The promises Hitler had made to the German ppl .
@B3boy That he would create a Reich that would last a thousand years, or Mussolini who promised a New Roman Empire in Europe and Africa . All these places, with the right set of events set in motion a path to genocide . Its not just the Japanese but everyone . The British have had their own places in time of savagery and barbarism as well as the Americans with the Native Americans . Does Liberty really preach murder as well ? No . That's the same with the Japanese .
She attempts to portray the Nanking Massacre as a forgotten holocaust which is of course untrue . Iam in no way trying to justify the murder of hundreds of thousands of Chinese at the hands of the Japanese but I must say that the way its explained by Iris Chang damages the truth of what really happened, especially because she's isnt a trained historian and also because she hadnt researched in Japan as well . She researched both in America and China but not Japan . At the time of the massacre
@scottweise18 ...and you know the truth? Seems like you're trying to damage those who are seeking the truth, which is a never ending and eternal quest for all of us who really care about all the worlds children and their future.
Tokyo War Crimes Tribunal and contemporary Chinese figures for the numbers of Chinese civilians and soldiers killed. What particularly struck me about her argument was her attempt to charge all Japanese with refusing to accept the fact of the 'Rape of Nanking' and her condemnation of the 'persistent Japanese refusal to come to terms with its past.'
@scottweise18 ...I personally CHARGE THE WHOLE FUCKING IGNORANT WORLD with it's horrid atrocities toward it's own species since the beginning of time and I'll start with the fucking POPE and HIS(male) POOP(shit eating grin).
Unfortunately, she undermines her argument she is not a trained historian by neglecting the wealth of sources in English and Japanese on this event. This leads her into errors such as greatly inflating the population of Nanjing (Nanking) at that time and uncritically accepting the
Roger B. Jeans, professor of history at Washington and Lee University, refers to Chang's book as "half-baked history", and criticizes her lack of experience with the subject matter: In writing about this horrific event, Chang strives to portray it as an unexamined Asian holocaust.
"the historical product of centuries of conditioning that all boil down to mass murder" even though in the introduction, she wrote that she will offer no "commentary on the Japanese character or the genetic makeup of a people who could commit such acts".
@scottweise18 ...so I guess what happened in UNIT 731 was probably over stated and magnified. You probably think that the commander of UNIT 731, Shiro Ishii, is not guilty of all the 440,000 tortuous deaths...maybe the truth is only 330,000 horrid deaths...but realistically, probably only 220,000...and on and on and on...personally I prefer to focus my attention on the AMERICAN TOBACCO BRAINWASH & MURDER INDUSTRY.
Joshua A. Fogel, Canada Research Chair at York University, argued that the book is "seriously flawed" and "full of misinformation and harebrained explanations." He suggested that the book "starts to fall apart" when Chang tried to explain why the massacre took place, as she repeatedly commented on "the Japanese psyche" which she sees as
Iris Chang's book the Rape of Nanking has been proven by historians to be half-baked and one sided . She's not a trained historian and her main motive for her novel is also questionable . Additionally,San Francisco Chronicle Staff Writer Charles Burress questioned her motivation for writing the book on whether she wrote it as an activist or as a historian, citing that the book "draws its emotional impetus" from her conviction to not let the Nanking Massacre be forgotten to the world.
@scottweise18 ....dude(if you are), what is your motivation for picking on someone like Iris Chang as opposed to someone like Anne Coulter? That CUNT rapes the ignorant mid-western American mentality every time she opens her mouth. PLEASE TELL US!
@B3boy Who said I was picking on anyone ? I was simply saying she's not a trained historian which means her statements, not all of them, but some of them, are inaccurate . And no I know what they did at Unit 731 . I know what they did at all the experimentation facilities . How they infected prisoners foods with all types of diseases and bacteria to see how they would react, experimenting on them without anesthesia, all that stuff . I never denied that the Nanking Massacre happened .
@B3boy I know it did . I was simply saying that if u want the real facts of what happened at Nanking, read a book by someone who is trained in that area of history, who knows all the facts and is a trained historian . Only then can you get to real truth about what actually happened . As its been said: Iris Chang's main motivation for her novel is anger and judgement against all Japanese . While anger should be a motivation for a novel like this, it cant be the main motive .
@B3boy When telling about something like this there must be a sense of telling from a distance and telling it in a much broader sense . Not simply saying the Japanese were savagess . Yes they were but for a real historian he/she would give facts as to why, how and where the savagery ended and began, without going into too much into detail the way Iris Chang did . Where her book was just a novel-sized condemnation against the Japanese . That was her main motivation .
If you're going to defend the murderers and rapists, justify your despicable racism, at least check your numbers.
There were 20,000 Japanese soldiers who killed 220,000 Chinese (not 300,000). That equals 11 killings per soldier. You moron, even if every soldier killed only 1 person a single day, they would kill 20,000 people! ('Oh, 5,000 a day so ridiculous!!') And they were occupying Nanjing 52 (not 45) days.
And they not only had bullets, but bayonets, mass burning
How can Japanese people accept wrong history? They said Japanese government removed most part of WW2 history. I read Chinese history text books. These are terrible books than Japanese!
I have never seen such a stupid history text book! Many Chinese have taught that Japan was defeated largely as a result of Chinese resistance, not by the United States. Moreover, Japan decided to pursue its own longtime desire for a continental empire, and attacked China, and so on. This is ridiculous!
@l3gendk1ller123 The Chinese really want to spread Japanese bad rumors to the world. In youtube, they have written lot of groundless rumors about Japan. The rumors don’t have any conclusive evidence. The cause of this fact is the anti-Japanese policy of the Chinese government.
@undertakerRach Your a complete moron.. Ignorance is bliss. And you are very very blissful.. Its obvious how much karma played a role in the earthquake/tsunami/ nuclear reactors.. God never forgets and trying to sweep things under the rug without taking ownership for what the Japanese people did only makes it that much worse... I have no hatred to anyone of any race only to those who CHOOSE to live in ignorance whilst spreading false knowledge.. The Nanjing Massacre is fact..
@TheEvanCole (Part1)I don't think so. According to the ejcjs articles, the majority of academic research on the Nanjing Incident has been opened, some the Japanese, the Chinese and people who are speaking English have been attended the conference. Of the three language groups, Japanese has produced the most sophisticated research, with the debate in English lagging decades behind.
@TheEvanCole (Part2) The Chinese language materials are the collections of various primary sources, including the recollections of many of the Chinese military personnel.
@TheEvanCole (Part3)However, these Chinese collections show no evidence of any vigorous critical attempt to distinguish between valid primary materials and other materials: photographs, for instance, which are known to be fabricated, or from different areas and different times, continue to be used to "prove" Japanese guilt in the winter of 1937-38 at Nanjing.
The Chinese really want to spread Japanese bad rumors to the world. In youtube, they have written lot of groundless rumors about Japan. The rumors don’t have any conclusive evidence. The cause of this fact is the anti-Japanese policy of the Chinese government.
UsFullOfLies This is real, Japan invaded Korean,China, and also attacked Pearl Harbor. And The only reason why they apologized is because they want to look good infront of other countries. If they are okay, how come they always apologize after attacking?
FUCK YOU! Have American give back to Native Indian? Or paid back the African American? Tibet is part of China too. Most western asshole can't even tell us a part. What do you care about Tibetan? Focus on your domestic poverty issues. Like you give a fuck!?
@windcloud415 (Part1) The so called Nanking Massacre was happened in 1937 China has claimed. In fact, so many cruel tortures, punishments and executions were conducted in everywhere in China by Chinese government in 1900’s. Moreover, In Chinese history, Chinese soldiers destroyed civilian’s homes and a town in order to wipe out any possible supplies or shelter that could be utilized by the over-extended enemy troops. This strategy is called "The Clean Field Strategy" by China.
@windcloud415 (Part2) American Rulph Townsend stayed in China in 1930. He said, “One of these was tying a victim immovable and unclothed over a freshly sprouting bed of thorny cactus which is said to grow very rapidly in south China, and with great force, so that sharp spines with which in breaks through the sod pierce upward as it grows and gradually penetrate the helpless man’s body in the course of a day or two”.
@windcloud415 (Part3)Not only that, there were many styles of cruel tortures in China. Violation of human rights is Chinese forte. Chinese soldiers killed 30,000 their own people in cold blood in Changsha in 1938 under the Clean Field Strategy even though Japanese didn’t reach the city. During the Shino-Japanese war, Chinese military killed Chinese people as if they were a worm. Chinese government was a genius to conceive cruel tortures and killing way, and at propaganda.
@windcloud415 (Part4)They said that the Japanese must have done with these cruel tortures and massacres. When people think about the awarding of the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize to the Chinese writer and human rights activist Liu Xiaobo, Chinese government has not changed their opinion compared with the Nanking Massacre happened. They showed Liu’s wife was gone out for shopping in front of camera. However, the scene was staged.
@windcloud415 (Part5) Chinese government has been killing 1,200,000 Tibetans since 1950. However, they have loudly announced we have been ruling over Tibet peacefully. Who can believe what China said?
The Nanking Massacre was a false story. The Massacre was a Chinese propaganda.
Native Americans were not the “noble savages” that America haters like to portray. They tortured, murdered, raped, and enslaved each other before the Europeans came. Last laugh: Indian casinos. Africans enslaved one another and sold each other into slavery. The Arab muslims perfected the African slave trade long before the Europeans stepped foot on the African continent. Slavery still goes on in the Middle East and Africa in Muslim areas. Learn some history douchebag.
CCP brainwashed it's own people by teaching Anti -Japanese education
presenting it's people bunch of fabricated fake photos of massacres, to make them believe and force it's people to deal with it's low wage labor system.
That is how Japan apologized and to many countries in Asia only not to China.
WAKE UP Chinese people, are you still going to get enough being a slave of a communist group like CCP?
How do you know the pictures is fake? Do you have fact behind it? Do you really care about that much Chinese people much? Please reply back. Thank you!
(Part2)There was also a case of gibbeted heads in the French Concession in Shanghai on February 12, 1938. Most historians allege that these were the heads of bandits or political criminals killed in the Chinese civil war. Iris Chang's The Rape of Nanking has the same photo with a background behind the heads on page 113. Looking at the larger photo, those who had experienced Nanking testified that the background is not of Nanking.
Nobody trusts the contents in the Iris Chang book.
■(Part1)One of the photos shows nine people's heads stand in a line side by side on ground. This photo is used as purported evidence of Nanking Massacre victims, but there was no such custom of gibbeted heads among the Japanese after the 1870s. Among the Chinese, however, this custom was still observed in the 1930s, and several photos of gibbeted heads appeared in cities of China in those days.
whats disturbing is that i was ignorant to this until i was in my 40's why the world does'nt educate people more on WWII other holocaust is deplorable. and the japanese to this day refuse to acknowledge or apologize for these atrocities. instead they try to distort historic fact with false rhetoric . I recommend buying iris changs book and doing further research on the subject and a proper big budget film should also be done to make mainstream people aware
Before the entry of the Japanese, Chinese soldiers in their mad rush to discard their military uniforms and put on civilian clothes. In a number of incidents, Chinese soldiers killed their people to obtain their clothing. During the last few days, some violations of people and property were undoubtedly committed by them.
James Espy, the vice American Council at Nanking, reported to the American Embassy
@undertakerRach thats a lie what you stated is a distorted account from iris changs book the chinese soldiers did try to change out of their uniforms in the face of imminant japanese invasion but there was no account of them hurting civilians for their clothing
This thing plays like a soap opera! Overheated dialogue, overacting, and overbearing music. I think the Rape was a major attrocity and history cannot be denied. But let's be respectful to the memories of its victims and report on this in a clear objective manner, without the hysterics.
The China Press also reported on January 25, 1938:
"Lieutenant General Ma, it is claimed, was active in instigating anti-Japanese disorders within the zone, which also sheltered Captain Huan An and 17 rifles, while the report states that Wang Hsianglao and three former subordinates were engaged in looting, intimidating and raping."
There are many books at Amazon written by Yuki Tanaka, and Katsuichi Honda about Nanking Massacre . These , are REAL MAN that we respect. The rest are just coward - who really bring down the image of being an asian.
@psalm1604 Honda Katsuichi? He said he had written what China said about the massacre, if we had questions, we should have asked China. In short the contents in his book are the same as what Chinese said. He had not any investigated about the massacre before he wrote the book.
the rape of nanking wasnt all japanese's fault, many people dont know, chiang kai shek offer a peace treaty to the commies to unite there forces n take nanking back, guess what, the chinese commie's didnt agree,so blame the chinese communists for the rape of nanking massacre along wit the japs, the chinese communists strategy was run n let chiang kai shek arm forces fight the japs so they become weak n can be beaten by the chinese communists, imagine they unite, they would av fuck off the japs.
China can't abuse Japan because there are no prove Japan guilty about the Nanking Massacre. The Chinese always show no evidence of any vigorous critical attempt to distinguish between valid primary materials and other materials: photographs, for instance, which are known to be fabricated, or from different areas and different times, continue to be used to prove Japanese guilt in the winter of 1937-38 at Nanjing.
Though, many teachers have taught the massacre to kids in schools in China.
@huaxianglove you can go to Nanking Museum and see the wan ren keng (a pit where burrowed ten thousands of human bones). or seek for other sources on Internet. Japan still refuse their accuse
Jeez ..there are some crack pot nutcases here. Trying (very hard) to speak intelligently and so obviously blinded by their own ignorance....or is that denial. At the end of the day the truth stands. These atrocities happened. Now get a life you wasters.
The truth is, in world war 2 if you look at the history of every army - as the war was heavily unregulated.. all the armies commited mass attrocities...not only the imperial army....the US army did much in Okinawa even till as recent as 2002 there were horrific rapes commited by the US. Look at the Red Army in Berlin...
Its now all in the past & nothing we can do to change it - but we can use this in the present to never let attrocities of this kind to happen EVER AGAIN!!
@Indomiesia You are right. The 228 Massacre, was an anti-government uprising in Taiwan that began on February 27, 1947 and was violently suppressed by the Kuomintang (KMT) government. Estimates of the number of deaths vary from ten thousand to thirty thousand or more. The number "228" refers to the day the massacre began: February 28, or 02-28. In 1945, 50 years of Japanese rule ended, Kuomintang-administered Republic of China (ROC) started.
(Part2/2)Why did not Mao announce about the massacre in the international mass media conference from 1937 to 1938? Why Chinese government could not prove the murder of 340,000 when the IMTFE was opened? Why Chinese government edited at least 147 pictures in the Nanking Massacre Museum?
@EDMOIL The Communist Party of China (CPC), which was led by Mao Zedong battled the Chinese Nationalist Party or Kuomintang (KMT), which was led by Chiang Kai-shek. The Chinese Civil War began in April 1927, amidst the Northern Expedition. Chinese killed many Chinese.
(Part1/2)Where were 300,000 of dead bodies? Why did many Chinese people come back to Nanking after Japanese occupied the city? Why did Chinese government paid money to Harold Timperley for editing book What War Means which was written about so-called the Nanking Massacre?
My friends and neighbors were in the Battan Death March. I wonder who ordered American POW's to bury live POW's, and if they refused then they were buried alive.
I guess it wasn't the Japs either right. Who is a liar? The more the denial the worse the character.
Don''t believe a word of this propaganda put forth by that bitch Iris Chang.. That bitch could'nt deal with life and blew her brians out..What a waste..She would have been a great fuck.. My Imperial Brother's will return.
(Part4)Incidentally, Zhou Enlai never even hinted at anything resembling a massacre in Nanking. We are not surprised that Hu Jintao could offer no response to this question.
(Part3)We pointed out that by December 1937, the Communists and Nationalists had already agreed to work together (the Second United Front), and that Zhou Enlai was second in command of one of the Nationalist propaganda organizations. The American’s curious response was “That’s because Mao Zedong was cruel.”
(Part2)Mao failed to mention a massacre in Nanking because there was no massacre. When we asked an American scholar, a firm believer in the massacre myth, to explain Mao’s silence on Nanking, he replied that Mao Zedong was delighted by the deaths of so many Nationalists, both military men and civilians.”
(Part1)Mao Zedong never mentioned a massacre in Nanking
The authors of Mao: The Unknown Story is critical of Mao Zedong because “not once in his long life did he mention another event that took place at exactly the same time: a huge massacre in Nanjing.”In fact, Mao does refer to the Battle of Nanking in an essay entitled “On Protracted War.” He faults the Japanese for a strategic blunder, writing that they surrounded many Chinese but killed few.
@Goodcapcay China has no right to accuse Japan of crimes such as the Nanking Massacre because the massacre was made up story using fabricated evidence. Obviously what China says is pure fiction! Demonstration of this fake story by the Chinese government is libel and slander. It is natural that Japanese raising an objection.
@undertakerRach Tell that to that cunt Iris Chang.. that bitch started this propaganda.. I feel like diggin up her rotting corpse and having sex with it.. OOPS!! I listened to way to much SSSLLLAAAYYYERRR "Hell Awaits" CD.. Necrophilliac
@hotforjpn (Part1)One of the Photos displayed at the 'Memorial Hall of Victims in Nanjing Massacre'. It is also displayed in the book The Rape of Nanking. The book states "The Japanese rounded up thousands of women. Most of them were gang raped or forced into military prostitution. (Politburo of Military Committee, Taipei)" However, this photo has nothing to do with the gang-rape nor the military prostitution.
@hotforjpn (Part2)This photo has appeared in the Asahi Graph, a weekly photo journal, published in Japan on November 10, 1937, about one month before Nanking battle. A set of four pictures have appeared in the journal with the explanation, titled as "Utopia amidst the Gun-power: The 'Rising Sun' Village South of the Yangtze." The very picture is captioned with "A group of women and children from the Rising Sun Village returning from the fields, guarded by our soldiers."
(Part3) Iris Chang used a black pen, and she erased a woman’s white teeth in the picture. Do you know why? All of women smiled in the picture. After they finished work in the fields and they backed home with Japanese soldiers. They must have been pleasant chat with Japanese. Analyzing Photographic “Evidence” of the Nanking Massacre by historians and other recent scientific research reveal that there are no photographs attesting to a massacre in Nanking.
(Part4)You know, at least 143 pictures are distorted by Chinese government.
You said Iris Chang had tried to generalize this as the act against humanity before she died. I don’t think so. There is no doubt that Iris Chang spread out wrong history which was the Nanking Massacre. This is one of the crimes malicious slanders.
Iris Chang's book, The Rape of Nanking, dated one of the photos as having been taken just after the Nanking Massacre. However, the alleged Japanese soldier standing by wears a military uniform with a turned-down collar with class badges on it. This style was not introduced until after the uniform revision on June 1, 1938. In addition, the photo does not tell how the pictured dead were killed, by massacre or in battle, and there were many Chinese soldiers in ordinary clothes.
@undertakerRach I don't understand your rapid fascination in trying to deny such an actrocity occurred. Citing that apparently "Chinese" textbooks omit certain parts of history does not justify that the Japanese should be able to do the same. Personally, I do not wish to take sides. Every country has a great deal of shame they should face. There is no country that is divorced from innocence in any way. You say China is a devil country. It's not the only one in the world.
@feeyona (Part1)EX-CHINESE OFFICERS AMONG U.S. REFUGEES Colonel and His Aides Admit Blaming the Japanese for Crimes in Nanking New York Times January 4, 1938
Wireless to the New York Times. SHANGHAI, Jan. 3. American professors remaining at Ginling College in Nanking as foreign members of the Refugee Welfare Committee were seriously embarrassed to discover that they had been harboring a deserted Chinese Army colonel and six of his subordinate officers.
@feeyona (Part2)The professors had, in fact, made the colonel second in authority at the refugee camp. The officers, who had doffed their uniforms during the Chinese retreat from Nanking, were discovered living in one of the college buildings: They confessed their identity after Japanese Army searchers found they had hidden six rifles, five revolvers, a dismounted machine gun and ammunition in the building.
(Part3)The ex-Chinese officers in the presence of Americans and other foreigners confessed looting in Nanking and also that one night they dragged girls into the darkness and the next day blamed Japanese soldiers for the attacks. The ex-officers were arrested and will be punished under martial law and probably executed.
Chinese nuclear tests began on Oct. 16, 1964, with the above ground detonation of a 20,000-ton bomb, followed by two-megaton surface explosions in 1967. The largest was a four-megaton explosion on Nov. 17, 1976. China changed to doing atmospheric tests in 1980 and underground tests from 1982 to 1996. Professor Takada said China is the only country in the world that carries out these large-scale surface tests in living areas.
Among the Uyghur people, many were suffering from malignant lymphoid leukemia. Incidences of cancer in Uyghur began rising in 1970 and by 1990, it was more than 30% higher than the national average. The cancer incidence in the capital city Urumqi doubled that of other areas during 1993 to 2000.
(Part2)Monition should be made here, however, that the Chinese themselves are not altogether exonerated of depredations, at least to some extent, before the entry of the Japanese. During the last few days some violations of people and property were undoubtedly committed by them. Chinese soldiers in their mad rush to discard their military uniforms and put on civilian clothes, in a number of incidents, killed civilians to obtain their clothing.
@undertakerRach Finally someone who knows and hopefully continues to show the truth. 300,000 Chinese "civilians" were killed, tortued, so on. But the army was still there and attacking Japanese in guerilla warfare. So they killed everyone to kill their enemy, who did fight regularly
@Canadianvoice (Part1)The Rape of Nanking published by Iris Chang in 1997, Iris Chang asserts that the total number of rape survivors is at least 20,000 to 80,000 in Nanking. She asserts that unprecedented assaults were caused by barbaric Japanese soldiers after the fall of Nanking. She asserts that hungry concupiscence Japanese soldiers raped a raped during two weeks from December 13th to the end of 1937.
@Canadianvoice (Part2)Judging The Rape of Nanking against the pregnancy rate of The Rape of Berlin, 23% of rape survivors should have become pregnant against their will. 23%this means at least 4,600 to 18,400 Chinese women should have become pregnant after a set period of time. And more, The baby boom should have taken place in Nanking 10 months after the fall of Nanking.
@Canadianvoice (Part3)And yet, about 10,000 Japanese-Chinese half-blood babies should have been born. Where these pregnant Chinese women were gone? Where about 10,000 Japanese-descended Chinese babies were gone? Im hoping to see descendants of Japanese-Chinese half-blood in Nanking.
@Canadianvoice (Part4)The 228 Incident, also known as the 228 Massacre, was an anti-government uprising in Taiwan that began on February 27, 1947 and was violently suppressed by the Kuomintang (KMT) government. Estimates of the number of deaths vary from ten thousand to thirty thousand or more. The number "228" refers to the day the massacre began: February 28, or 02-28. In 1945, 50 years of Japanese rule ended, Kuomintang-administered Republic of China (ROC) started.
@Canadianvoice (Part5) The uprising was violently put down by the military of the Republic of China.
Carpetbaggers from China dominated nearly all industry, political and judicial offices, displacing the Taiwanese who were formerly employed; and many of the ROC garrison troops were highly undisciplined, looting, stealing, and contributing to the overall breakdown of infrastructure and public services.
@Canadianvoice (Part6)According to the New York Times on March 29, 1947, one of the Americans said, Troops from China arrived at Taiwan on March 7 and indulged in three days of indiscriminate killing and looting. For a time everyone seen on the streets was shot at, homes were broken into and occupants killed. In the poorer sections the streets were said to have been littered with dead. 'There were instances of beheadings and mutilation of bodies, and women were raped.
@Canadianvoice (Part7)During the Shino-Japanese war, Chinese military killed Chinese people as if they were a worm.CPC acted more brutally than KMT. Thats why Chinese people called CPC, Mao soldiers, 共匪 which means communists pirates because they raped many women, plunder many towns, and murdered. Actually, Chinese commanders admitted many soldiers raped and seized at least a week after they visited a new town. If the commander had not admitted that, poor soldiers would have killed him.
@Canadianvoice (Part8)Chinese commanders admitted many soldiers raped and seized at least a week after they visited a new town. If the commander had not admitted that, poor soldiers would have killed him. Chinese government explained all of their own crimes must have been done by Japanese. The Nanking Massacre was used Chinese propaganda by them. Chinese government is still lying about Tibet and Uygure.
(Part1)Around December 10, which date was Japanese surrounded the Nanking city, the city was completely fallen into a state of anarchy by Chinese soldiers. The Chinese soldiers in holy terror came to be out of control and began looting. James Espy, the vice American Council at Nanking, reported to the American Embassy at Hankow concerning the aspect of the city right before the fall of Nanking as follows :
I feel very sorry for the demise of Iris Chang, such a young life ! I also feel very sorry for the brainwashed Chinese, who have been used as a bunch of useful tools by their filthy rulers.
The so called Massacre / Rape of Nanjing was complete fake, created by the Chinese gov't to use Japan's past as a scapegoat, to cover its own political problems.

The number of the 'cases of rape' Chinese claim is from 20,000 to 80,000 cases. Suppose Japanese took this number, there should have been from 500 to 2,000 cases of rapes occurred daily. This number is absolutely not trustworthy.

Most Chinese students finish high school convinced that their country has fought wars only in self-defense, never aggressively or in conquest, despite the People's Liberation Army's invasion of Tibet in 1950 and the ill-fated war with Vietnam in 1979, to take two examples.

On average, China has used military power every several years. In all cases, except for its support of North Vietnam war against South Vietnam, China has used force preemptively. China attacked the opponent first after careful preparation, whereas the opponent suffered from a surprise attack.

@B3boy I know it did . I was simply saying that if u want the real facts of what happened at Nanking, read a book by someone who is trained in that area of history, who knows all the facts and is a trained historian .

This photo is used as purported evidence of Nanking Massacre victims, but there was no such custom of gibbeted heads among the Japanese after the 1870s.
