I should confirm something. If the meta knight didn't see your defense mod hacks and actually killed you and got the points, for him it would of put him on the results screen, and since you obviously didn't finish your view of the brawl in 15 seconds, it eventually took him out of the group, putting him back to the screen where he selects basic brawl, team battle, or spectator mode. How do I know this? Well, I've de-synced many wifi brawls through hacking...

lol I remember somebody hacking to play a match at the HRC. There were no blast lines so no one could die! Even at Sudden Death we were all just playing around, getting blown up by bombs and falling for like 5 minutes before hitting the ground.

I can explain some of this.

A hacked basic brawl match that's desync'd will not disconnect unless the game loads up something for one Wii that it doesn't for the other Wiis. For example, when someone nabs a Smash Ball, it has to load up the Final Smash animation, but it'll only do it for Wiis that registered someone smashing the Smash Ball. This also happens with Pokeballs and Assist Trophies, iirc.

After that, it's just a matter of the Wiis to realize that they're not relaying the same data.

In Basic Brawl, beware of the Zelda Spam!

Some Ike players bow to Zelda players, doing Whatever It Takes to make sure she's safe. If Zelda is attacked Ike is there to protect. If Zelda attacks Ike he will suicide a point for her.The legal spam makes her pretty much unstoppable. Damn Ike players.

I controled the kirbies with seperate controllers. I used the ''multiplayer with anyone'' and the normal defense modifier that's why it's so strange it actually worked.

I need to try that out. I'm not sure if the normal defense modifier works online. There is a Wi-Fi damage ratio modifier but it affects everyone.

I could've continued that sudden death forever however he would've dropped out the group if it took too long. However I still saw him on the result screen so I bet he was still in and watched the whole sudden death The match also lasted more than 3 minutes so he couldn't save the replay.

@LordPenguin777 truste me i made people wate alot longer on sudden deaths without hacks. When there is a player who dosnt move i make shure its a sudden death and kill everyone but the non moving person, if its on the temple stage i move the non active player to the safe spot,go off a ledge where im safe from bombs, and wait till somthing happens :D

two GCN controllers and I used a code where you can play with two or three people on basic brawl. The only thing I needed to do was taunting so I could control both controllers
