  • @IndyBBall Does TWC do a local on the 8's for death valley?

  • Dang I thought Lincoln Nebraska was hot. I take that back lol

  • I do not know how these people in Arizona could possibly get accustomed to 110 degree heat in the summer!

  • @Sazee1000 Easy its called staying inside stay in the shade when you are outside or just simply swim in a pool. Oh and when you want to go somewhere by car be prepared to get your AC cranking for 5-10 minutes before you leave otherwise you risk burning your hands.

  • "Cast Your Fate To The Wind" is right. :O

Never mind frying an egg, you could fry a steak on a rock over there with that kind of heat.

  • 101 at Midnight? ....

  • better break out the winter coats for saturday its only going to be 114 its amazing how much cooler flagstaff is at only 85 isnt flagstaff in the mountains and thats why its so much cooler last friday in nc 84 today only about 37 it feels like winter which this kind of weather is pretty typical in march

  • DAMN and i thought we got hot over here in summer

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!! i feel hot just watching this D:

  • I can't sleep at midnight when the temp is 101F

  • WTF 116 HOLY S***

  • this type of weather make me happy i live in phoenix and not in lake havasu

  • Yep...that is hot all right (: I usually go to Mexicali, Baja California and the temperature is pretty much the same as lake havasu...the bad thing is that some days, it gets very humid which pretty much makes you lose air...

  • arizona is hot and cold to the blistering pheonix and lake havasu to the cold flagstaff

  • I suffered to get away from the heat this summer. Thank god it's cold

  • jesus thats hot

  • Only 114 on Saturday! Yes! I think that means everyone can come out of their air conditioned homes.

And I've never heard a weather forecast from the weather channel describe conditions as "hot" during the overnight hours.

  • Out In Arizona. The Humidity is so low.. it does not feel truly like 116 Degrees

  • 90 as a low? 0_o

  • why does it not rain in la las vagas phoeinx

  • I have relatives in that area, so they must be used to the heat! I've visited them, but only in the winter (December-January) and early spring (March).

  • hottest I ever have been is was in Palm Desert/Springs, CA (you can see it on the radar, Palm Springs :P) was 110 degrees, and that was according to the intellistar forecast, unfortunately I was not a person who recorded it at the time, so I don't have a recording.

Also, wow, 90 as a low? that's horrible!

  • 7% Humidity Thats Dry

  • Your just lucky its not hummed.

  • my #1 Favorite 2008 TWC song

  • who can sleep in that heat seriously i cant sleep even when its 80 outside

  • wow 101 at midnight

  • I'd rather be in LA than there.

  • I see this Intellistar's ID number is 23257. Mine is 23527

  • lol at 6am, 93 already.

  • OMG OMG soooo hot id die if i was there.i can't even take it when it 86 lol.i live in the north east im not use to that.its really different to hear them say very hot high 119 and then at night very hot low 90 unbeleivable.you must live there? cuz i can tell you flimed it from the tv.

  • My favorite climate:

    Rainfall: around 4 inches.

    January Low: 62

    July High: 105

I dont dislike the cold, I just enjoy the heat better!!! But despite the cold winters, the deserts are still nice....

  • If you look back at my Daily Weather Notebook the Alltime record High is 112

    Date set: August 17,2008

  • on August 1,2009 my thermometer at the 2am observation was 94.3 dew point 67 humidity 45% HI:98

  • holy moly that is hot!

  • I don't like the desert, at all. It never rains, so barren, desolate and useless. No water. Rattlesnakes everywhere. Snow is certainly impossible.

  • Who ever heard ''Very hot. Low 100.'' before.

  • I've heard highs of 123 and I live in Phoenix, do you people really think it's that hot here or am I just used to the weather? It's hotter than that in Phoenix nearly every week.

  • WOW. That is crazy. I couldn't see a low being 90 here in PA. That is totally different!

  • oh my god that is really hot 116 degrees oh boy all the 7 days of forecast are really high is like a new record every day.

  • mitchell caverns is much better. 97 degrees, kinda hot but then again not when ur talkin' about 118 degrees.

  • Actually, it showed 104' in Mitchell Caverns, 12 degrees to 116'.

  • LAWL Hot Low 90. its not low its high

  • omg i cant even stand it when it gets to 90!!! lol XD

  • 0:32 my home city Yuma,AZ

  • in NJ it can reach 105 F occasionally. but its worse here b/c of humidity and dew point in the mid 60s to upper 70s!!! which makes it worse!!!

  • yeah its humitidy sucks bad ive been in both but nothing beats 120 even when its with 0 humidity like you are bring cooked alive.

  • Song is Cast Your Fate to the Wind.

  • by David Benoit

  • I Should Of Watched This Before I Went To Vegas Back In July. I Will Never Complain About 106 In Vegas Again After Seeing The 119. And Here In Illinois It Usually Only Gets Up To 99 In The Summer.

  • It would be hot but you wont sweat because the humidity is so damn low! And temps here usually goes all the up to 99-104 every summer.

  • Watching The IS In Vegas Was Weierd. Have You ever Gone To A Different City And Watched The LF? It's Weird Right?

  • Yeah. I went to Hazleton, Pennsylvania two years ago and their IntelliStar didn't have traffic reports.

  • The Only Time My LF (Here In Illinois) Doesn't Have Traffic Is On The 1 Minute Flavors.

  • So does mine.

  • I can't remember if the one in Vegas had traffic reports or not. Vegas isn't a major city like Chicago & NYC, is it?

  • Look At The Low, 90!

  • @lightningbolt999 I think (not possitive yet) the highest ever night time low temperature in Death Valley was 103 °F (39 °C) recorded on July 5, 1970 and July 24, 2003.

  • Damm lucky people that doesnt live in the desert cuz at nite time its warm i cant even sleep!

  • "Currently in our area, 116 degrees." Never heard that before.

  • I never heard the narration read anywhere above 104 degrees in my area! I just laughed throughout the whole video because the humidity is dangerously low, the temperatures never got below 89 degrees and no to many clouds on those forecasts!

  • I do not like the heat, do you?

  • This heat is extreme, so not too much lol.

  • @IndyBBall A dewpoint of 36 degrees? Man you are lucky. I wouldn't mind 120 degrees if the humidity was that low.

  • How does the dry heat out there compare to the heat and humidity in Florida?

  • It's quite different. There's no humidity, so you don't really sweat. The heat is the equivalent to that of a hair dryer, IMO. :P

  • When it is 116 degrees outside, it's hot, no mattter what, whether it's a dry heat or not.

  • i know what you mean i was in the desert region in california it got up to 120 degrees this was in summer 2000 i got a bad sunburn

  • did i say 2000 i had a bad sunburn it was actually 2001

  • You must have moved. The IS didn't lie.

  • I'm on vacation.

  • Are you at a hotel?

  • No, at my fams new house..

  • So basically you moved, correct?

  • My family is moving...I still live in Florida.

  • Oh

I thought you lived in Indianapolis though

  • Man you're nosey.

  • sorry :(

  • they say Havasu is a popular vacation spot during the summer

  • Oh ok...I've wondered how the dry heat is out there. Livin here in South Mississippi the humidity is unbearable..and I know your in Florida so I wondered what it was like...good analagy!!

  • That's HOT!! Thanks for sharing!
