@sharpasadullknife grinders are inexpensive and very effective. and people can cut the lock and unbolt the boot. now whether it is worth to go through all of this depends on the value/appeal of the car and the the stupidity of the car thief.

the point is to make it harder for someone to steal the car. The more time it takes, the higher the risk of getting caught and someone either whooping the thief's ass, or even worse, cutting their tendons so they no longer have use of their legs EVER!

The wheels of a car do not have to roll to load it on a flat bed wrecker or trailer, a winch will pull em right up.

I know, I pulled 6 of em like this last night alone.
