This is wonderful. It was just what I was looking for. I am putting ruffles on some of my granddaughters clothes and this was a lot of help for me. Thank you for putting this video up
Truly enjoyed watching your video. Thanks so much for taking the time to share. You have a manner about you that makes it interesting to watch. Again, thanks. Hugs, Suzy
<3 ur tutorials! Funny when u r describing things like gathering the ruffle don't pull 2 tight....I think every1 starting out has done this! Frustrating!Gonna start my kid-os pants asap!
Omg thank you so much! I'm going to try this again tonight. I have been doing a couple of things wrong & the pant leg would be too tight after I finished.
This was awesome.....thanks for ruffle idea!! You just gave me a short cut for sewing ruffles on a baby onesie. I was doing the ruffles by hand to get the ruffles until you showed me the length 4 stich...thanks a bunch.....
Love love watching ur videos! U have such a calm sense about ya that I actually learn!! Im buyin a sewing machine for my birhday Feb 26th so I can start followin ur footsteps! Surely u make ur own bows too?
Loved the video ! I want to try this but i dont have a sewing machine . Tempted to go to walmart now and get one lol I have a question ...Do all sewing machines do the ruffle stitch where u just pull the thread to make the ruffle fuller . If so what is the feature called to look for on the sewing machine . If not what do i need to buy to do this . I really know nothing about sewing machines . I have made these ruffled jeans by hand though .
@cathyky34 Hi! Thank for watching! Yes, all machines can do it. Just make sure the machine can do a long stitch (stitch length of 4 or more)...good luck!
Thank you, this video helped me alot. I made this today and it was so easy after seeing how you did it. I did watch another video on how to make a ruffled skirt to learn how to make a double ruffle, that video would help you budafam 1323. It came out so cute.
Thanks to this video I went and made ruffles on the bottom of all of my little girls jeans.. it was so much fun and easy.. but I do wanna buy me that ruffle foot
Hi Budafam1323! You can easily make a double ruffle by making two gathered pieces instead of one and placing them on top of each other. Pin to the jeans and sew the same way as with one:) Just be sure to make the ruffle that will be on top a little bit thinner so you can see the one underneath it! Hope this helps!
Great job making this video! This will help me alot with my granddaughters clothes! Thanks!
