I made both priest and paladin. So far, Im rocking with my paladin. Priests have colorful skills but sucks in 1v1, but great in team. Paladin's skills are quite simple but rocks in 1v1, but stucks in team.

@unbr4eakable This depends on your 3rd job, if you're going Guardian you should invest mostly STR (pure physical) and VIT for more HP and defense, if you're going Crusader you should invest INT (it's a hybrid job but it's magic part is stronger) and VIT as well, but not so much as the Guardian

@SkatasticBam Yes you can. Google for "Dragon Nest Korean Voice Pack mod" or "Japanese" depending on which you want. This one's Korean. Download the mod with WinRAR and extract the .pak file into your DragonNest file(only put it in that file,no other files in it). It should change to Korean voices then. Don't forget to delete the .pak file from your DragonNest file before updates otherwise it may screw up and you'll have to redownload the game. Simply re-extract again after updating.

@paoski19 The pally is a damage soaker. He has the most health in the game, and his job in a team is to attract the opponents fire so that the high damage dealers that do not have a lot of health (acrobat, sorceresses) can attack the bosses and monsters.

@buledragon172 Paladin is the tank in this game. That is not to say he does not dish out alot of punishment..cus he does. But when running higher lvl dungeons, and fighting bosses. The AI will automatically go after one player in the party and be focusing on that party member to attack. If a mage type were to be targeted they would die very fast. Thats were Paladin come in they have great defence and counter skills. Anything comming at them they can handle and do counter damage.

@Jice1123 To be honest it comes down to your style of tanking. Depends on your build gear avatars crests etc... To my point. Paladins and Mercs are probably the best tanks in the game hands down. However their style in which they tank monsters are a bit diffrent. Mercs use howl skills to aggro monsters + reduce their stats also they have skills like tough skin + iron skin which ups defence by alot. Again depends on ur build.

@Jice1123 Continuing, Paladins can tank also, but their style of tanking is a bit diffrent. They use alot of blocking skills that also reflect holy damage back at enemys. They have counter damage skills. They got skills like Block + auto block + stance of faith, toughness. They take a more straight forward way of tanking. rather than debuffing like merc. They take the full assault from monsters and reflect back damage and block alot. That does not mean they are a punching bag. They kick ass too

@DaBigX26 well it depends on your gameplay. Priest can dish out decent amounts of damage, but still heal/buff his team. Paladin is pretty much a tank. He uses block abilities to take damage, while lettin his teamates attack.
