Yoann Gourcouff should be bought to replace Ramsey as he just isnt good enough to supply the killer pass as often as we need him to. Gourcouff has been compared in the past to Zinedine Zidane. ANY player worth being compared with Zidane is worth it, especially at 10-12M.
Wenger's the perfect manager to revive a player's career. If he can get Gourcouff going, get his form back, we are looking at potentially the signing of the SEASON!!!
Too harsh on Ramsey. I too would love to see Gourcuff at arsenal (he can teach ramsey a few things) but Ramsey is the future along with Wilshere. Fair enough hes burnt out at the moment, but can you tell me the last time he made an assist/goal. The answer is against Marseille he scored a goal, last assist was Bolton 3-0.
he has been robbed of quite a few assists by gervinho's poor finishing in one on ones. He las assist i think came against chelsea. he's still going to be a fantastic player for us. plus you have to take in how he goes box to box, not just hanging aronud waiting for the ball. I believe he's racked up the most distance traveled on our team so far
After the mauling we received at Old Trafford, Wenger has gone slightly more defensive in bringing Arteta. His role is to dictate the tempo of the game and sit deep. By the way, Arteta HAS to sit deep as Alex Song is adventurous going forward, leaving huge gaps in the middle of the park.
Song isnt a totally defensively minded DM (like Makelele/Essien) so his natural tendency id to get forward. If there is no-one covering for him, we are open on the counter-attack, hence Arteta has to stay back
You really need to learn football before advising others. Gourcuff, Hazard, Götze. If we buy them we'll have three players (not counting Ramsey) who ALL play in the same position and we'll have filled up a position with £90million worth of unneeded players. Think a bit please

Just admit it, Lyon's better. Lloris is an unreal keeper, their back-line is definately way stronger, as is their midfield and the forwards are about the same, maybe arsenal have a bit of a lead cuz Gomis is terrible.

We also have Ribery as well, and there are some good young prospects in Remy and Valbuena . If we have learned anything from history France always comes back strong after a terrible showing at the world stage. Lass is a mucker he cant play the beautiful game. He touched to ball about 5 times against Barca in the Classico, hes beter without the ball than with it. Gourcuff is quality pure quality and its not just quality like Berbatov its quality with passion. Eric Cantona springs to mind Gourcuff isnt of that standard but certainly fits into that kind of playing style and is just what United need right now!
