  • This is still one of my favorite shows & I love 2 come back & watch it & it makes me think every time. I read something this week that said, "Always see others with the eyes of God & not your own. Love them with God's heart, yours is wounded. Forgive them with God's compassion & not your reasoning." Love this! I think if we truly did this we would always be those peacemakers. Mark, sure miss watching SWM&T and your video blogs. Very few put the cookies on the bottom shelf as you do...miss that!

  • "And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of goodness." James 3:18

Maybe it's talking about sowing seeds 2 bring inner peace 2 a troubled heart! Jesus built bridges by healing people's hurts, through acts of love, 2 the broken. We can never underestimate the power of a seed that's been planted in an individual's heart. In turn maybe that will bring about world peace.

  • Would love to be a fly on the wall of your back porch. I could listen to you think out loud all day. Talking about Jesus, and listening to the birds songs in the background. That's Heaven on Earth! Beautiful song!

  • mmm, live by the sword die by the sword. some of these commentators need to read the 'redwords' again. defend yourself-sure, make war(not declaredby congress)-no , very simple

  • Did you record this song?

  • Straight out of the liberal Tony C. handbook. Soon Mark will have us saved by working in soup kitchens. I also guess that we have no right defend ourselves from those who would attack our land.

  • Your a Blessing Mark...

  • I really enjoyed this video. (I enjoy all of them but...) loved your singing. You are really gifted. love to listen to your voice. Would you sing a duet with me some day?:)

  • I found peace in your singing Mark. God bless you!

  • mark, you are so wise and so much better with explaining things than I am. I loved how you sang at the begining, you should do that more often I love to hear you sing. Wonderful thoughts, everytime you talk about God you always take my mind and twist it around in so many different directions.

  • Mark I love watching you and cannot wait till the next time u put a show on. have you ever wondered why we have sickness, since it was all put on the cross with Jesus when he was crucified why do we choose to keep taking it off there. Cannot wait till December you will be here in Ky and me and my hubby are coming to see ya'll woohooo

  • Just a quick thought:

One of the last things Jesus said was that we should love one another as he has love us, when your loving someone as Jesus loved us, its pretty hard not to be at peace with them. I could be wrong, but I always thought the peace makers were the ones who found a way to live a life of love.

  • I would think that keeping terrorism from reaching our shores is peacemaking... or a duty nonetheless. If the Iraq war is what is being referred to here. But I do see what you mean. Also, Biblically, I think it blesses God that we are going to great lengths to protect Israel from terrorism that would otherwise overtake it.

  • Mark, there are so many things I don't understand. I don't understand how people can sometimes be so cruel to each other and sleep at night. I don't understand how some folks just kill there brother over a piece of land. But one thing I know for sure is that none of these problems will be around in Heaven. Great video, got me to thinking.:-)

  • Mark, you are the reason that I signed up with Youtube over a year ago. Now I have almost 5,000 subscribers. Thanks for the introduction to this place, and thanks for sending me all those messages from home. Love you.~~~Lanette

  • I love your thoughts on this subject! I would love to sit and talk about the Bible with you, you are an amazing man of God! I thank Him for you! May He bless you in a special way for being a blessing to me.

  • The peace of Jesus transcends all social barriers and transforms the hardest of hearts. I can't wait to meet Him face to face. What a glorious day that will be! And I can hear you sing beautiful songs like the one on this podcast. Makes me long for Home!

  • I prefer to be a peacemaker. It's a better way to live :-)

  • Just yesterday I was thinking that one of the things I will love most about heaven is that NEVER again will there be shedding of blood - people, animals, insects, nothing. It will not be necessary or ever required again, not for any reason. Because He shed His blood, one day it will come to pass that we will never again have to look upon a blood stain. No death, only life!

'Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!' Rev. 22:20

  • Mark,

Your sermon and song were well received. The acoustics ain't too shabby either, brother.

    Carry on!

  • Wow, you're good! Keep slipping those songs in these videos! Very engaging thoughts, too.

  • Thank you. Good stuff. Amen

  • See, my youth group had a completely opposite discussion last Friday based on the verse where Jesus said "I did not come to bring peace." I can't remember where that's found...

  • Everytime I listen to your thoughts it gives me more to try to figure out.I got your hymns CD today. I love it and the orchestra is so good. Thanks for many hours of great listening. I keep saying you can't get any better but you always do. Teresa
