My first two jumps (and only) were both Static Line from 3,000 feet at San Diego near the Mexican Border. Evidently this has been replaced by Tandem Jumps from considerably higher altitude.
Cut the engine on some crap piper cub: coast along, crawl outside, Grasp wing strut, stand on brake locked tire...let go...arch 1000 etc. I hated it, that's what you call fun? oh well. Twice was more than enough for me. At least I did not drift into Mexico; or, become a human pan cake. Never again.
hehe im due to jump fro charity, ive never even been in a plane before. Im not entirely sure yet what kind of jump it is but id assume its something similar to this. I am however not sure it was the best idea to pop on here to watch some jumping just to get the feel of exitement for it as i dunno if exitement is meant to feel like i am now lol.. On that note ill see ya later as im off to the bog.

Im only 15 and holy shit this is fun to do anyone thinking of doing it i reccomend it for sure!
