HEY!
i want to do this. and i was looking, so my xbox is v1.6b, do i need a certain hard drive? or will any locking hard drive work?
and if i soft modded it and have the Unleash-X dashboard can i even use a non locking drive?
like, i need to know what to do. i want to upgrade the drive but i dont know what to get.
(i have the HDD key thingy)

@zakkcirts i did it. The drive i bought didnt lock. so it doesnt boot. and it refuses to read the original drive. any ideas?

It all worked but when I get to locking the hd I keep pressing -a to lock but says command not found. Happen also with -p,-f. What do I do

There is no BiosLD folder. ??

@darkknight36351 huh? then you havent flashed your hdd? biosld is linux distro bios...

i did everything but when i put the new hard drive in the xbox & put the xbox on i only get the original xbox dash board & it dont play burn games and the hard drive is locked can i unlock the hard drive & start over? please help.... thank u!!!

@slimjohnify that just means you need to softmod your new hd again.
