Ballroom? John? No elegance in his dancing, no connection with his partner? Are we looking at the same video? Mind you, even though improvised this is still a competition and not social dancing in the dance floor aspect. And to look at the video without the music is like completely ridicoulous. It's the interpretation of the music that gives you the incentive to the expressions. John is an amazing social dancer and I have never seen him behave diva like... Props to both of them for this dance!!

that s a very good arguement, indeed. I may be crazy but yet, he still moves way too much, he tries too hard and he misses the goal of a good salsa dancer:

To make the girl look good.

Instead he keeps on moving too much as HE is the real diva. Way too much show off . It s definetelly not my cup of tea. The male dancer is supposed to look like "he makes love" to the girl he dances with... Not to make love to himself.

But hey... !

When I learnt it, the move is called a "Four corners swing step" or just a "four corners" for short.
