man the other guys want to play, Layne is dead so what else are they supposed to do. Nobody is gonna try and replace Layne (as that is imposible), AIC just wants to play cause thats what they love. Would you be able to just quit doing what you love one day, or would you overcome any obstacle to continue doing what you love.

Layne was a VERY talented part of this band. Only a part however. Jerry's riffs, which Layne built his vocals around, are about the only truly irreplacable part of AiC.
