So, doesn't the landlord have to wait at least 6 months to do anything to try to get the tenant out? In MA, if the landlord did anything within 6 months the tenant to claim that the landlord is putting her out retaliation to the request that the repairs be made.

I am being screwed over to put it mildly in Pendleton Oregon after I have lived in my home, a duplex for 19 years. I wish you were in Oregon. I called the Oregon State bar for an attorney, since they will not even believe me on the new ORS 90.427 (3) (c) law which came into effect 1/2010 which states they have to give you a 60 day no cause notice if you rent month to month and have lived in a place over 1 year. I guess I will see them in court.

My client stuck to her guns, and I was really proud of her!
