She dwelt among the untrodden ways Beside the springs of Dove, A Maid whom there were none to praise And very few to love: A violet by a mossy stone Half hidden from the eye! --Fair as a star, when only one Is shining in the sky. She lived unknown, and few could know When Lucy ceased to be; But she is in her grave, and, oh, The difference to me! (William Wordsworth)
college, trixie. big words are encouraged. and they force you to think in paragraphs instead of soundbytes. it could warp you for life. words of any size are fun to use, aren't they? consider the old expression- 'bigger IS better", it's true isn't it?!? ;o)
I love this tri-color & 2-stanza sonnets too! Strange, isn't it; I too remember well when OJ's name conjured images of football & leaping over luggage. How that has changed, whew.
Very enjoyable, very well done -- would love to hear more :-)
heh- rachel here. he is sly isn't he. this is my disclaimer-- ms socks officially disapproves of (blatant) self congratulation. however, if it makes a person *that* happy to color in all the stars, *norm*, who am i to stand in the way of such a simple source of contentment?
:P ( lol i tried to make the little sticky-out tongue guy as a response to yours and YouTube warned me that my message was too short. so i am compelled to natter on...) norman does rate tops with me. we may squabble at times but as a poet i think he's an all-star
Thanks, this has been added to our playlists here, and on facebook....

hehhee you just made me think of how when little kids get all upset you go "it's ok... calm down.. use your words"
heheh...
i am dyslexic so when i type it is hard for me to use all my words... spell check doesn't really help.... my mouth works fine though...
i loved that you used your words
