@JamesAndrewMuir No problem.. It was a must that I subscribe to this channel. Not only because you do tutorials about Logic but of the fact that you teach what most don't or try to with a great deal of understanding. I really do appreciate you taking the time to do so.
awsome video man, its really helpful, I was wondering however, is there a way to automate say a release envelope parameter in a synthesizer with out doing it manually through a slider on a midi controller?
@M17Adj Hi, glad you liked it, if the synth in question is a soft synth hosted in Logic, the process is exactly the same as any other kind of automation. So you'd bring up your track make the automation visible, either by using the button at the top of the Logic screen or key command ( A ), then select the parameter you want to automate and away you go, if it's an external synth, it'll be midi controlled and specific to each synth.
GREAT VIDEO!!!!
YOU FREAKING ROCK MAN!!!!!!

would you happen to know how to use the audio level of a channel to control parameters?

@myteron Sorry, I'm not quite sure what you're trying to do. Give me a step by step of what you want to do? And I'll try and help.

Thanks for the comment, I think that's a good topic for another episode. So I'll do a video on it later in the week.
Stay tuned.

You know the automation pattern of the first track, how would you copy that automation patter if the loop was longer.
Basically extend the automation without having to draw it all.
