Shit, I'd always assumed he was hammering on when he did this trick (for non guitar players thats when you make a note by bringing your fingers down sharply on the fretboard without using the pick/plectrum) but you can see at 0.25 that he's not, in fact he's bending the strings which means he must be using his teeth.

I accidentally pulled on the string instead of strumming it and it snapped. It was the thinnest one and it cut a straight line across four fingers. It was a little deep, but hurt bad nonetheless.
