  • Trololololol Pricke

  • That clay purple girl is a tease!

  • Gumby = Nova

  • Which episodes does Prickle breathe fire?

  • What's with the high-falutin' language? "Precipitated?" "Ruffian?" "Shakespeare?" Most kids (even better-educated as they were then) wouldn't get that. "Gallant?" And as for the plot, I believe Art Clokey WAS on LSD after all when he approved this.

  • @50zcarsman I know the 1988 Gumby Adventures series had the habit of using some rather complex vocabulary words (I even recall learning some of them from that show!)

  • I think Gumby is going to give Goo a little Prickle and a Pokey!

  • Gumby's awesome. I never really saw Gumby except maybe a few times all these years. It's great that it's on youtube. :]

  • Gotta love the continuity black holes! One minute Prickle's nearly out of breath, a few centimeters from squishy yellow death beneath the wheels of Gumby's locomotive, when he suddenly gets the idea to employ a magnet... and in the next shot, he's already managed to:

    1. procure a magnet, some rope, and a grounded post

    2. tie the magnet to the post, directly in the path of the train, then calmly step back and watch

Where did Prickle get all this time? Did Gumby's train take the scenic route?

  • @lexagon77 Also when the train was spinning 360 several times and then more carriages magically appear on the end of the train and hit Pickle.

  • @omgshrimpz Prickle*

  • I have to admit, as out of character Gumby is, Norma McMillian Gumby voice is PERFECT for this episode!

  • This episode must be set before Gumby and Prickle became friends.

  • As far as the year goes, I think you meant 1966 or 1967, the latter is the year the show ended.

  • This episode has haunted my very existence for over fifteen years now...so glad to finally see it again. Thank you so much.

  • Prickle: If I had a glove, I'd show you a thing or two.

Gumby: Here take mine (hands Prickle the glove)

Prickle: (Throws glove at Gumby's face)

LMAO! That was the best part!!

  • eeheeheee, prickle and gumby look so cute with that hankie at their neck

  • 3:48. Owned!

holy crap, this is the greatest Gumby episode I've ever seen. This is what TV tropes would call a "Crowning moment of awesome."

  • HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!!! ''WAIT HELP cried prickle

  • Oh man I have never seen Gumby that pissed before. This is one pretty action packed compared to most.

  • Prickle just got PWNED.

  • This one is so whacky! Do you have the one with the Mason Hornet? That was always a favorite!

  • love gumby thanks

  • This is probably the only time Gumby and Prickle were rivals.

  • Sounds like maybe the Sonoton library may have been used at 2:30 with the spy 60s sound [Gumby first appearing with the train WikeK209 referred to.]

  • pokey kart 64

  • Wow, Gumby's acting WAY out of character in this one! Usually he's too nice to be a murderous idiot like he is here!

And is it just me, or did Art Clokey and his crew often love using that American Flyer-made O-scale PRR model steam locomotive first seen at 2:17? I saw it on other Gumby episodes (such as "Train Trouble" and "A Bone For Nopey"), and it was also on a Davey and Goliath episode too! ("All Alone") But then again, Gumby had a LOT of cool model train sets on the show.

  • @wileyk209zback UPDATE: I found out that model train they always used was NOT made by American Flyer: it was made by none other than Lionel Trains! (It is Lionel engine 2035)

  • Glad to see you with some more of Gumby..!

  • Thanks for uploading my request!

  • You're welcome. Thanks for the appreciation.
