God that looks so much fun:) What beautiful children. This video made me laugh so hard. I especially felt it, when Audrey didn't wanna get caught, feel her excitement. That's what life is all about:)
Even though Audrey is young, I am pretty sure her intention of using Sids other walker was to be supportive of him. It's amazing what children will do for their siblings. Sid is so gorgeous. You have such beautiful children!
indeed your son is a champ! i have a 3 y/o son who also has cerebral palsy, he walks with support. i would love to have one of those walkers for my son miguel but here in the philippines, the gov't gives very little priority to people with disability. sidney is very lucky that he receives everything that he needs and the gov't helps you with this. hugs to your little hero =)
I was born in June of 1993. I was diagnosis in May of 1994 when I with Hemipelgia Cerebral Palsy. It was on my right side. I am a blessing to my 27 years old brother in law, 29 years old sister, 19 years old brother, ballet best younger friends at Omaha JCC on Mondays & Thursdays. I have awesome Madonna School Serving Special Needs Students Best Friends & Wulf & Schwartz Cousins.
cool video. I was born prematurely and have CP (mild spastic diaplegia) I had an operation when i was 9 and now i can walk unaided. It's really cool to see your son doing so well at such an early age.
i have cerebral palsy and i can walk without anything but i've had more then 13 surgeys cuz' i had a hip surgey and it went all rong. but the first surgey i had was when i was 4 and i had the surgey on my back i was in surgey more then 6 hrs
Your kids are gorgeous, Sid looks like he's having so much fun chasing his sister. We are on the waiting list for a 'Hart Walker' for my girl, it looks similar to the one Sid is using. I SO can't wait to see her walking like him.
oh my God your children are a blessing... my son has cerebral palsy also. he learning everything little by little. your video gives me hope for my son Jayden. they look so happy God bless them and you guys for being strong parents.
Hi, Wow! I'm going to try that kind of walker with my daughter again. We tried one at a convention once, but we opted for another kind. Please watch my video. Your kids are adorable!
resetone: if they were retards, (wich they're NOT!) as happy, gorgeous and fun as they are, I'd rather be them (or be with them) than you any day, they are better than you in every way and have a greater life than you, they receive love you'll never know, so the joke's on you punk, plus now everybody on youtube knows you're a jerk
Love the video, give the family of kids with cerebral palsy hope for their kids. P.S.... my nephew is 9 months old and has cerebral palsy, where can i get him a walker like Sydney's. Thanks and keep on being the great parents you both obviously are. Tima
i remember those moments in my walker... which i am proud to say i no longer need but i do need a chair for long distances having CP has closed a few doors BUT has open twice as many... AWESOME VIDEO!!! there is always a light at the end of the tunnel
Glad to know my cousin and i aren't the only ones in BC with CP. He looks like he's the determined one to not let anything get in his way. Quite often i have thought about becoming an elementary school teacher for those with disabilities as there just as smart as the other kids but get put down because of their disability. I would know as my grade 8 PE teacher was absolutely brutal on me when we told her i had it. I just hope that by the time he starts elementary school the teachers will know.
I have three children and two are special needs, oldest has austism spectrum disorder, youngest has sev spastic quad CP and the one that is not special needs always wants to be like her brother & sister...
We have twin boys (2 years old) one with CP and one without. Watching this video gave me a little flash forward into our future. I can see our boys doing the same :) SO precious!
Thanks for sharing! I'm also raising a child with CP, the walker looks like the KidWalk I'm wanting to purchase for my daughter. Her little brother likes to use the walker she has too. God bless you!
hey guys, i love the video. my daughter victoria has cp also, she will be 6 soon. she cant walk that good yet but she is getting there. hope to see more videos, that inspires us, thanks.
Wow, he's doing awesome! Is that a "gait trainer" or "walker"? I'm thinking about designing one for my son Jack, who will be 2 in April, since they're so expensive to buy. He's nowhere near ready to walk around like Sidney is though.
Walker. Very expensive raising someone with a disibility. Where we live (BC) Sidney's need's are taken care of: medical is covered (every Rx), formula... physical therepy, speech therepy...a team follows him. A social worker is assigned to him nd plays as liaison between everyone. special equipment is either "loaned" for whatever length of time needed or given to...but of course you return if it is not being used. Wheelchairs, walkers, high-low bases, standing frames...
Too cute. Thats great you let your daughter use the equipment. It will give her a chance to lookk back and understand her brothers disability a little better, like I did when I used my friend's wheelchair. What an eye opening experience. I love this video.
i have it to and i know what he is going trough
