  • omg whales

  • Too sad that humans are so blind and kill our fellow animals with whom we share distant ancestors with. We, unfortunately for us, need to die out, and after we do I'm happy that life will continue on and we'll be dust in the earth.

  • What are you doing to my lunch!?

  • what is the song? very beautiful.

  • I would be scared if I'm underwater and it swims next to me

  • im not even from this planet !

  • Was your afraid he eat you

  • I know they're called gentle giants, but if I bumped into one of those things in the ocean I would still probably wet myself in awe and a little bit of intimidation.

  • its not even that big!

  • wow that whale is so big but its cool

  • How many blue whales are left in the world?

  • 0.41

  • The blue whale is one of the faster whales too, massive and fast

  • what if we are accidentaly swiming next to a bunch of kryll and the whale accidentaly swallow us, what are we suppose to do in this situation???

  • @dfghj241 Despite the fact that the blue whale is, to the extent of our knowledge, the largest animal to have ever existed; it in fact has a small throat relative to it's size. The whale would struggle to swallow a small beech ball whole let alone a human. What would happen to you if you happened to find yourself in a blue whales mouth? I have no idea as Iv'e never been in one. If you do happen to survive such an experience please do let me know ;p

  • DAmn nature, YOU SCARY!

  • Whale videos give me chills and sometimes make me cry, it's a dream of mine to meet one of these gentle giants. They are so beautiful.

  • What kind of camera are you using? I'm looking into getting some beginner gear for underwater. I have a nikon D90 DSLR

  • breathtaking

  • Largest animal to have ever lived was actually a sauropod dinosaur named "Amphicoelias Fragillimus" wich was about 200 feet in lengh.

  • Largest animal to ever have lived was actually a species of andropod dinosaur known only by it's scientific name as "Amphicoelias Fragilimus"

  • @WaterCrystalline actually, in terms of length, there are some sauropods that exceeded the blue whale's length but in terms of weight and volume, no known dinosaur was even close to a blue whale. The reason behind this is very simple: in water the strength of the gravitational field feels much lower than on land, so a big animal can move and sustain it's weight much easier underwater than on land

  • It looks gorgeous. But this looks much smaller than the one that I saw at the Natural History Museum in London. From what I've read they can get to up to 32m in length. Is this a juvenile? It's clearly not 30 meters long.

  • @hakewyt I am also a massive fan of the Mammals' Gallery in the London Natural History Museum.. in particular the Blue Whale! Without having another object next to these Blue Whales it is very hard to gauge perspective as to how big they actually are.

  • @WeirdunderWaterWorld Yes, you are right. Have you actually participated in the filming?

  • @WeirdunderWaterWorld i love the whale area in the natural history museum

  • @hakewyt Why it looks small is because there's nothing to compare it with, put a human beside it then you'll see that it ain't much smaller at all ;)

  • @hakewyt the Blue Whale is not the biggerest animel on the planet here ok. The largest Animal on the planet is a Whale shark here

  • @phillipmad1231 hahah not even close man..blue whale is WAY bigger

  • Thats terrifying..

  • @GlassDancerz These huge animals are gentle and only eat krill (a small shrimp like crustacean) which they filter through their baleen filter system ... they do not prey on humans!

  • @WeirdunderWaterWorld Hahahaha I know Whales don't eat people!!!!!!! I actually have an irrational fear of them. Therefore this video scares me. And I just creeped the hell out of myself....)=

  • @WeirdunderWaterWorld Its not the i think they eat people part. Its the sheer size of them. The idea of something huge in the depths of the ocean underneath your feet part. Rising up from the black. Ugh it makes my skin crawl. I appreciate them but they still scare me. =/

  • @WeirdunderWaterWorld hello, I was wondering if you might know what the sounds playing in the background are. are they part of a particular song? when I watch this video, it makes my world stop, and I see something much more majestic. I just wanted to know if there was a full version of this song, it's really inspiring

  • @WeirdunderWaterWorld Yeah we know that! But there's a difference between dangerous and terrifying! and as GlassDancerz said: Those animal are terrifying! But so much interesting!

  • @WeirdunderWaterWorld even tho they dont kill humans i would also say that its still absolutely terrifying having Such a Big animal around u, i for one know that i would piss my pants if i ever saw this while diving

  • @GlassDancerz Yeah Blue Whales aren't harmful....

  • @DARKTIGERKAT148 Again....I know they arent harmful. I have a fear of whales. They creep me out.

  • @GlassDancerz Lol okay, it's fine and yeah, I know I'm not the only one that's telling you this so sorry about that.

I don't blame you though.... If I was near one I think I would crap my pants... Scary and beautiful.

  • I Hate howus humans hunt these down! they are living aswell what if someone hunted u down how the fuck would u feel about that! U WOULDNT BE ABLE TO FEEL SHIT DAMN ASSES! WE SHOULD FEED U TO THEM U FUCKIN WHALE HUNTERS!!! HOW IS THAT SHIT FUN!!

  • i thought it bigger than that !

  • i wanna have infinite lung capacity for 24 hours and then swim with these whales...

  • How fast are blue whales compared to other whale species?

  • @randomfatblob your dick when you zoomed in 500 times

  • this video reminds me of my dick

  • @randomfatblob same color?

  • damn those things can move.

  • @777azza - Yes they look effortless like they are slowly cruising... but they are super fast!

  • @777azza Which is why only after the invention of the steam powered ship, could humans hunt these, they were too fast for the rowing boats. Sadly when we began hunting these magnificent creatures we did it with total abandon, in less than 100 years we wiped out 90% of the Blue Whales population and given the fact that they are slow breeders it's not very likely that they'll ever recover.

  • @RastaSaiyaman Gotta hate humans sometimes..

  • Who would dislike this? This is great video.

  • Camara doesn't do justice to show its size

  • Is this a juvenile whale? and one more thing how big are these whales?

  • @BradleyTV4Life The biggest one can reach 110ft and length and weigh as much as 210 tons but on average there about 100ft and length and weigh about 150 tons

  • @forksnipe315 Wow thats enourmous thanks for the info

  • @BradleyTV4Life No prob

  • @BradleyTV4Life - This is not a juvenile but a fully grown adult: Balaenoptera musculus, brevicauda. They are listed as endangered on the IUCN red list.

  • SPERM whale, moby DICK,HUMPback whale, free WILLY.. what the fuck is up with these names?!

  • my eyes are all teared up and shit!! i love whales so much!!

  • i seen bigger

  • biggest animal we know of on earth...proto leviathans g..they are out there

  • That's a lot of whale burgers

  • Humans have changed from animals to parasites of the planet.

  • Never underestimate the power of the Blue Whale. On March 11, 2011 one of these majestic creatures farted off the coast of Japan. Seldom witnessed is the destructive power of nature.

  • @examinationboard the exact same thing could be said to you

  • Very peaceful video. The blue whale swims with such ease.

  • Stop eating whales and dolphins, then maybe these species will survive...

  • A religious flamewar on a video of a blue whale.

    Brilliant.

    Only on YouTube.......

  • *grabs harpoon*

  • I want one!

  • Amazing Blue Whale HD - the biggest animal on our Earth!.....well buddy, the whole ocean is vast and still has not been completly explored...many more of these amazing creatures live deeper within the see but we can not say which is the biggest yet (;

  • Theses creatures were here long before us. It is a reminder of what lived millions of years before us. Watching theses creatures and realizing that they were here before we came around to disrupt their homes makes me sad. I am not saying I hate my own kind but for being intelligent creatures I think we could of done a lot more to save the ones who really own this planet.

  • @BBryandownes oh please. how many animals would have been hunted to extinction by OTHER animals if not for humans?

  • @SpanningTheEons all I see is humans killing off other animals. We have the ability to kill off almost all animals on this planet. I do not see whales dropping atom bombs on us

  • There is a fundamental flaw in the argument about eating whales/cows chicken etc. Most food we eat are created to be eaten. Cows/chickens etc aren't just harpooned and tortured before death in their natural environment. They are raised to be eaten, on farms etc. Whales/dolphins etc are not raised to be eaten, they are taken from their natural environment and killed fairly slowly and painfully in some sick twisted tradition. The human race thinks it can do whatever it wants, one day we will pay

  • @JakeRommer87 Exactly, thanks for pointing out.

  • @JakeRommer87 Yeah and the Japs will be first lol!

  • @JakeRommer87 animals eat animals and guess what were animals too im tired of people saying animals are so peaceful dont get me wrong i love animals and hate animal brutality and support wildlife foundations but is there rele a difference between us eating animals and animals eating animals not really. the only difference is that we have the cognitive ability to think of other ways to do it like farming and feel guilty for it. the animal world is a dangerous world just like ours

  • So huge yet so graceful...

  • Yeah, this is really exciting. I'm dizzy with anticipation! Or is it the wind? There's an awful lot of that now isn't it? And what's this thing coming toward me very fast? So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like 'Ow', 'Ownge', 'Round', 'Ground'! That's it! Ground! Ha! I wonder if it'll be friends with me? Hello Ground!

  • Seeing this creature in person would freak me out completely. But I think that's what my life is missing, just a giant whale :)

  • did you know that the only thing louder than a blue whales sonar on the planet is a hydrogen bomb?

    thats pretty freakin loud.

  • 14 krill watched this video.

  • omg its so incredible how fast and easy a creature that big can move! im amazed! i mean compare that to how slow elephants usually are. insane

  • Aff! Nothing to see him agr is the largest animal on Earth was once the Megalodon and other prehistoric animals.

  • @LelandnSonya4eva noone thinks that these creatures could be more inteligent than humans? i think is possible, we dont know anything about them

  • @LelandnSonya4eva there is no god saying there a god is the same saying there ghosts

  • @LelandnSonya4eva Why did god make boats?

  • @LelandnSonya4eva god put them here? what?

  • @LelandnSonya4eva

good to see someone making a valid point regarding god. For any other Christians, Jews, or Muslims reading this comment, or just anyone who likes taking bits from the Old Testament; remember this. It is stated in scripture that one of our main purposes in this world is to tend to God's creations. Animals are not here just to appease us. Yes we do eat some species, but it's written that we are stewards of the planet; and its our heavenly role to maintain it

  • @LelandnSonya4eva ugh. this comment was disgusting as fuck.

  • @pablovirus I agree, especially the bit about how "goodness" let these animals live just for our amazement. As if these animals are just puppets for our entertainment. What kind of arrogant shit is that? Why not just respect life, period, no strings attached and no big brother to thank.

  • @HoneyPatchworks The most arrogant fact of them all is that we named several whale species after how easy they were to hunt. The Right Whale for example because it was the "right" whale to hunt.

  • @LelandnSonya4eva you obviously have little idea of the horrors a human being is capable of granted that they have the technology and authority they need.with that said, wiping off countless of species would be as simple as snapping a finger.

  • @LelandnSonya4eva "...and we should bother them in the water." Erm aren't we meant to not, before them lol?

  • @LelandnSonya4eva "God put them here and us too to coexist" Please stop making dogmatic claims.

  • @examinationboard Does it even matter if a person knows how they got here if they appreciate and care for the animals anyways?

  • @LelandnSonya4eva God doesn't exist, it's called evolution.

  • @dracel10 As an actual atheist I know no one can say there is no god as it cant be proved but your right, evolution can be proved and is alot more likely than a spirit. But although the poster believes a different theory of creation cant we just both admire this creatures beauty and right to live peacefully without threats from us, the most destructive animal, well primate.

  • @LelandnSonya4eva God's made up.

  • @LelandnSonya4eva God doesn't exist.

  • @LelandnSonya4eva there is no god.......hell why are people to stupid to see reality-.-

  • @LelandnSonya4eva all live came from the ocean ! thats why need water to survife!!

  • @LelandnSonya4eva whales came back to the oceans, there were on land before.....and before that they were in the ocean! learn more science bro!!!

  • @LelandnSonya4eva wow i never get scared but your comment scared the hell out of me!

i hope not all humans on this planet are so ignorant as you are....:-(

  • Dinosaurs-- what dinosaurs? According to Dobson, Taggert, Roberts, Graham, and all the other rapist, and that ilk, etc... never existed!

  • id shit myself if this swam next to me

  • @DzekoVelez one of us has to go? Don't we need animals to survive? If we didn't have them we wouldn't have a food supply. Bees = polination, many animals = protien.

  • you must be heartless to disklike this

  • KILL IT WITH FIRE!

  • I don't think the last one was a mighty blue. Dorsal fin too close to middle section.. The real ones were marvelous nonetheless... Thanks to weirdunderwaterworld for making this available.

  • Not really majestic they are just big and slow as fuck

  • @DzekoVelez you unhuman being , you're the slow one, you have no heart for animals and any living thing.

  • @MrBlackcat1990 Of course I do, but think about it, do they know they're majestic? I mean they were just born huge, like dinosaurs. And add their slow movement with this music and people like you think they're "majestic". Pretty funny actually treehugger. It's just that I would much rather the human race survive than animals, if one of us has to go.

  • @DzekoVelez I like your philosophy

but it is ok for a little sense

  • @DzekoVelez you realize that if there's no animals, there's no human beings...right? we depend on animals not just to eat, but to pollinate, to spread plant seeds, to provide warmth, etc, etc, etc. I mean, I'm sure you're just being pedantic and not even attempting to sound intelligent for the sake of being insulting, but I just want to make sure.

  • @laikalynx Yes I do realize that, but many animals can become extinct, it is just a part of the natural cycle of life. Many animals have become extinct before us have they not? I am just saying that we are screwed either way. Either we take all of the resources earth has to offer and us humans become extinct faster or take it slowly and live like cavemen for the rest of eternity (highly unlikable)

  • @DzekoVelez slow?? They can get up to over 30mph You must be able to swim pretty fast to call that slow.

  • con melancólica gracia, casi indiferente al mundo...casi feliz

  • Va tan solo por el inmenso y solitario mar como buscando su destino...

  • @Babylauncher3000

    You don´t know!

  • If whales could talk, just imagine all the stories it would have. Seeing most parts of the world that no one has ever seen before.

  • Wish there was something to compare its size too... in this film.

  • Fantastic animal!!!

  • I seriously love whales, they are the most beautiful animals ever known to man kind, just look at it, swimming so gracefully. UGH I LOVE THEM.

  • Damn you scuba steve!!!!!

  • Never swimming in the ocean after seeing Jaws

  • not even close to hd.... great footage tho

  • @pokemon64537 yet u enjoy watching thier cartoons

  • Amazing. but if i saw that in the water i would have a heart attack. i would be so frightened. this didn't say how large the blue whale is..anyone know the length and weight ? but yes i loved the video and found it very peaceful watch the whale move through his underwater world :)..beautiful.

  • @sweetkittytwine Approx 100 feet and 100-150 tons

  • hey i didnt know my penis was in this one thank for the video

  • those japanese bastards think they taste like chicken so they fish them all out

  • kinda reminds me of basilosaurus

  • Brilliant.

  • humans digust me because we killed off so many of these gorgeous animals
