"Shining" it up would just be a paint job. I may do that when it wears. I've always liked the black one better. I did redo the blade later in another video.

Sound I've said no on. Right now I don't want to alter it that much. Maybe later when I can get the right board.

Probably never. I did go for a different lighting setup after this but I consider sound too invasive of an install. It could be done, but I don't want to alter the hilt that much.

What in your opinion is the brightest luxeon avilable? I would like to buy one but I want it to shine brightly even during a day. And as I see You have some experience in that matter :D

Thats really not that great. I have a Sidious

made from real wood and real gold plated ss. Its not really any harder then most sabers to forge. You just have to own and no how to use metal working machines.

Yup, it was hollow. It's a mix of resin and machined brass.

I found the original maker and there were only 20 made. I've met three owners and saw one go on ebay before I knew how rare they were. Chances are that you'll be lucky to find one much less get one on sale.

I also looked at getting more made. Way beyond what I could invest the time in.

I really don't have that many. Most are actually in parts now as I need time to redo them. Otherwise they stay on display until they come up in convos and we spend an hour or so bashing them around.

Yeah, I could probably fit a V4, but I'm unwilling to drill holes for a speaker and the extra switch on such a rare hilt. Only 20 were made and only a fraction were made to EL like they were intended.

Second hand is the only way. Only 20 were made and only a fraction of those had EL installed. So I'm pretty safe in saying I have the only luxeon one. I've only met one other that had one so they're extremely rare.

No, I'm not selling this one. If you can find another one like it I'd be happy to make one for you.

I don't have the equipment now, but someday I hope to be able to replicate this saber. For now it's just scrounging everywhere to find one of these EL ready hilts.

Would you be able to make it glossy instead of the ugly matte on the resin models.

Sure, but if you use it gloss will wear even uglier.

I didn't bother painting it, but I suppose it will have to be done at some point.
