Okay, for those of you saying that Bane is good enough to be the Main Villain and should be a Side Villain there's a few things I feel I should list.

Bane is the only one to physically cripple Batman for a long period of time (actually forcing Bruce to pass on the mask to Azreal)

Ra, after Batman leaves actually chooses Bane to be his heir

Bane is suppose to be the smartest villain Batman has

so stop basing all of your info on Bane from Batman and Robin and stop fanboying over Heath Ledger

I mean, look closely and you'll see a "night burglar" costume- and the figure is awfully scrawny. Then again, this could be bane pre-transformation. One can only speculate these things for now. Hopefully Nolan will be generous and clarify some things at Comic Con over the weekend.
