the dodge at 5:30 is bad ass but has hit that hp rpm low gears and planetary drive limits ....he needs a motor that will turn 10 grand or he needs a big ass 15L CAT that makes 2100 ft lbs tq and use 3rd gear ..lol

@motorcycle121 there is alot of gear reduction going on here ....ie if the gears in this set up are 5:12 `s then that means the driveline from transfer case turns 5.12 rounds to 1 round of the axel....and if this set up has a planetary gear in the hub (it looks like it to me) then the axel would turn 3 rounds to make the tire go 1 round ... so now the drive shaft spins 8.12 rounds to every 1 round of the tire ....and you get even more gear reduction thru the transfer case .....disclaimer "IMO"

@motorcycle121 so if you had a motor that would turn 10k rpm you would spin the hell outa that driveshaft .....and if you had a big diesel motor making 2000 lbs tq you could run a higher gear like 2nd or 3rd vs 1st gear in your transmission .....make since ?
