the thing about Christians in a band... yes they will write songs about God, songs about girls, songs about good times, and about bad times, because the Christian still experiences all these things. Songs like this are a bit ambiguous because he never says, "God, you're all I want." but it is there, you can feel that it is a very deep love, more than just a physical love...at least to me. But a Christian can write about so many different things, but people always want to limit what it can be

After listening to the original version then listening to this Live version about 10 years ago, I got to say that Lifehouse has matured very well. I love both sounds, and I appreciate the albums that they release. I cannot wait for their 6th one, whenever it comes out. Good Job Lifehouse :D

Lifehouse does not consider it's self a Christian band although Jason is a Christian and a lot of their earlier works have a Christian influence. In particular Everything was written by Jason as a worship song during his Christian youth group days.
