Love the fish, could you tell me about the sponge filter, did you use the hydro sponge still, if not what type of sponge was it and whats the design to it?

How long does it take for jags to develop color? I just got a 2 incher. I feed him/her frozen bloodworms, live red-earth worms and color flake. Any info you can give me would be great!
how big did jumbo get and i named my jag after jumbo cause he killed my red devil so thanx for puting jumbo on the internet or i would not have loved jags as much
What an evil fish!!! The local pet shop has one in a very small tank that i'm gonna save soon. Just as evil if not more than Jumbo. A little smaller though. Great Vid.

So that's the video of "Jumbo" that Craig had mentioned! Very impressive. Perhaps using a smaller human for scale would have better demonstrated the size of the fish :)

That's really impossible to answer. Too many factors to consider...the fish, the tank size, mates, etc. IN general both species are crazy at times.
