Very good overview of some of the more detailed settings. I just picked up the Timebender and I think I'll be discovering new ways of using it for a long time to come. Back in the day...I would've needed a fair sized rack of gear to approach what this little box can do. Keep the videos coming....10 more? Fine by me! Thanks.
I have a problem with mine. Since it has a very usefulold school hold/infinite repeat function, which means that you can create short loops with delays, it works great in single strum mode. But when using anything else, say the tap mode, and press hold, after a 30 seconds it throws the whole loop point and beat off, ever so slowly, after 3-4 minutes it's totally out of tempo. Also, there a different versions of which volume pedal/exp pedal you can use. Stereo plugs or not? Mine says mono TR.
That is a Time Warp delay of the Timebender and I add an intervallic delay setting which means all the repeats are transposed within a scale.....check out the videos on the digitech page there you get the settings
you mean in my video?...thats the crappy cam I use....if the display falshes in your timebender there is something wrong with it, are you using the proper powersupply?....the only thing that should flash is the LED which indicates in which tempo delaytime) you are in
@29396 The flashing/flickering you are seeing is the refresh rate of the display that the camera is picking up, perfectly normal response. You can test this if you use a video camera and point it at a TV, you'll see that flickering on playback. The lower the refesh rate of the display the more noticeable it is. Hope that helps you.
hey ralf, i haven't been able to find a picture of the back of the unit anywhere, not even on the digitech site. i've got one pre-ordered, but i'ld like to know what expression pedals are compatible with it. you mention the passive volume pedal, and there's obviously power, guit in, effect out, but what are the other 2 chords going to; midi or stereo stuff?
Hi Jeff...if I had a cam I would scan it in for you but here you go from left to right Stereo Input (2 jacks) left and right left is mono - Stereo Outputs (2 jacks) left and right again left is mono - Footswitchinput to connect a FS3X to it to change Presets and more - Expression pedal in to connect a passive Volume or Expressionpedal - last but not least the powersupply input.
Send me a private mail with your email address I send you the manual ok?

Great demo !. Big choice of good pedals around but I think the harmony repeats function on his decides it.
