  • nice feel

  • How do you make it where u can have headphones on and still have the music coming through the video directly instead of through speakers? nice playing btw..keep it up

  • @SoulThriveBeats I plugged a splitter into the keyboard's output. Google 3018-HDSPLGRN to see what I mean. So now I have two two plugs. My head phones go into one plug, and my computer's AUDIO IN goes into the other plug. I used the computer's built-in audio digitizer to capture the audio, so it was never analog... never played through speakers. It's digital-to-digital so that's why it sounds clean and crisp. Then I combined the audio and video from the camera in iMovie.

  • What makes the first notated chord nice (Gmin9 root position) is the addition of the b7(F) at the bottom creating a nice dissonance in the form of a Maj 2nd. Then you have a C13 b9 #11 , which I really like. This goes to a nicely voiced FMaj9

  • 1:41 I was waiting for a run in there somewhere...I just felt it in my spirit!! HAHAHA lol

  • I just want to learn 1 chord like that , show off in front of some folks(including an X) and then just walk away.

  • @delaghetto17 Man who you tellin ROTFLOL x be like "Dag why did I break up with him??" and then I am like see you could have been my groupie!! Sike naw lol

  • Awesome!!! How do you put the chords up on the screen like that??

  • He used the annotations editor... comes with youtube...

  • Good demo

  • Great. I like it even more that you added something new to the progression at 1:15. Could you share those chords with us like Starling Sounds did, please? :-)

    Thanks!

  • Sure. I just added annotations for those mystery chords so they'll show up if you view the video.

  • @bryceguy72 Great sound. How about chords/notes for the first part - please!

  • cool man

  • whats the chords progression???

  • i like the way that you were able to change that tone generator on the fly. a lot of keyboards have a feature something like that, but the one on that keyboards drastically changed the original sound... and without degrading the sound quality. what keyboards is that?

  • Roland RD-700SX. It's a great pro-level keyboard but expensive: Around $2100 if you buy it new. I got mine at a pawn shop for $700... barely used and like-new condition.
