As a time saver, you can also just use the same 'boolprop testingcheatsenabled true' cheat and click on the relationship bar of the Sim you want yours to be friends with; and just drag it to the right. Then with one 'positive action', you'll be all set and it only takes a few seconds.

Oh, but you have to do that with both your Sim and the Sim you want to be a friend of your Sim; otherwise it won't work. Just for anyone who didn't know that........^_^

an easy thing to do on sims 2 and 3 is do the boolprop thing and once its active press go to neiborhood or the family selection screen then go back on your family now on in sim in the family you can go to there needs or socail menue and click on the bars and you can easily modify them

the answer to this is no because your vampire will eventually die (there needs will go down faster then a normal sim) the only point of having a house with no windows is if you dont get to the bed in time you still have a chance to make it.
