i went to my malwarebytes free edition, and it said it had like 8 quarantined rogue viruses with the name a 360, but i never downloaded this program EVER i just was looking in my malwarebytes and showed that this item was quarantined , so does that mean it was removed from my pc?

Let me explain what happened to me about a month ago. My mom booted up the computer in the morning and though AV360 was our real Antivirus system. She left it up for me to take care of when I got out of bed so AV360 had been running for a few hours. It apparently installed the root kit because I could not open anything. I had to sneak past it to get to the "Add and Remove Programs File" I removed AV360 then ran a MWBAM scan. (Which I thank GOD my friend told me about a week before I got AV360).

It also corrupted one of my drwtson32.exe files which gave me some major problems.

i had it...

first go into task manager, click the processes tab and find a360.exe, right click and click close process,

then download malware bytes it's free and completely virus free, run a quick scan, you'll find 7 infected files, and it removes them completely free

hey..for some reason i cant use firefox (my preferred internet browser) but i can use internet explorer. I hit ctrl+alt+delete and ended the a360.exe process and disabled a360 from opening when i start up windows. i ran the malware remover and went back into msconfig and the a360 file is still there. im really irritated and i dont know how to completely remove it!

Use windows defender to get rid of antivirus 360. Windows defender is included and enabled by default in Windows Vista and Windows 7, and is available as a free download for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.

My sister got our computer infected, I have vista and all I had to do was go to control panel > security > windows defender. A quick scan did it for me.

Yes, I have heard that it's inferior to some of the other stuff that's out there. But it worked for me, it found anti virus 360 and removed it and that's all that matters.

Just remember this:Be careful on clicking sites cause antivirus 360 can hide there.And 2 antivirus 360 puts viruses on your computer.I know because I once had it and my brother deleated it off my computer.

If your still having trouble removing Anti-Virus 360, reboot your computer and tap the F8 key. A screen should load with "Directory Services Restore Mode." See if you can run malwarebytes from this mode.

I've had to remotely access the computer before (booting into a working copy of windows, and looking at the infected drive. I realize this isnt a very realistic idea for most of you. Ill see if I can figure something out, there are a few options that I need to investigate, hold on!

If you don't have "tdsserv.dll" there is another way to load Malwarebytes.

Restart your PC and before the Windows logo comes up, keep pressing F8 then

select "start windows in safe mode".

Open Malwarebytes again, and do "quick scan". Remove the virus.

It worked for me, might not for you..

Sorry for the lack of response!

If Malwarebytes doesnt load, go to your "Start" menu. Right click on "Computer" and choose "Manage." From the left of this new window select "Device Manager."

Select the view menu and choose "show hidden devices." Expand the "Non-Plug and play devices" item and go down till you find "TDSServ.dll" right click and disable it. You will need to reboot. Try malwarebytes again.

I'll post a follow-up to this in the next couple days with more detail.

yeah this is just a crappy variant of "antivirus2009" but this one dosent even wokr nowwhen i try and download it it says "antivirus360 cannot be downloaded without being purchised" then after im sent to the purchise page it then creates a tmp file on ur computer to make shure it stays on but this virus is useless now becuse the website has been shut down

its a tuff virus. My Mcfee proffessional didnt find it. I eventually got rid of it with MalwareBytes (download free) Trouble is that then my pc slowed right down, because of 2 virus checkers running, so I had to remove my £40 pound a month Mcfee. Its bad that a free one zapped it and Mcfee didnt. ??????????????
